Yetis cups and whatnot are so pricy because they work fricken good and don't have much competition
Plenty of good cups out there and you can get an equal coozie for free a ton of places...

It cost a lot to ship something so heavy from China.
Negative. It will cube out before it weighs out. Based on some quick math, I think they can fit about 350 65 quart coolers in a standard 40' container, which costs about $4500 to move from China to Texas, which is about 13 bucks per cooler.

People are blinded. There's some insulated cups for less than $30 out there that hold just as good

Not only that.....how long are these guys planning on keeping their drink before it's through? The plan is to still drink your drink in 30 minutes or less....don't need an icebox to keep it cold for that long.

You can pass out with a 1/2 full Rambler of taste beverage and wake up the next morning with no ice melted...

So have there been any shipped?
If so, is there a head to head 'holds ice test?'

There are several more inexpensive coolers out there that hold ice better already

And for keeping hot coffee hot, I haven't found anything better. We have a ton of the Tervis tumblers. I'd fill up the big one, I think 24 oz, and hit the road. Less than an hour later it would be lukewarm. It would be really hot for about 30 minutes, then all of a sudden would go cool. As long as the cup was full, it was fine. Big difference with the Yeti. We are teaching my daughter's Sunday school class this year, and I always take the Yeti with me. I make coffee at the house, fill up my mug to drink while getting ready, and about 8:30 go ahead and fill up the Yeti. It will sit on the counter, and by 9:30 when we get to church it has cooled slightly, so that you don't scald yourself drinking from it. At 10:30 the second half of the cup is still pretty hot. We also took our kids to a Pumpkin patch on Saturday. Left our house at 9:00. Made it there by 9:40. Went inside, spent a few hours, and left at 12:30. The second half of the cup was still pretty hot. You just don't get that with a Tervis.
I want one of the lowball cups for drinks. I hate my ice melting in the normal glasses that I use.

Plus when you drop a tervis the plastic insert separates from the rest of the cup. They also lose their seal after a while and start to fill up with water when washing. For $20 the Tervis is dogshit. For not that much more money you can have a stainless cup that won't need to be replaced.

Fed Ex just dropped off 3 of the 45s that I ordered this morning. Really nice product that RTIC developed. So I can confirm they are finally shipping to an address near you now.

Yeah, I've used their lifetime warranty several times. Usually on older cups that have cracked or started to accumulate moisture inside. But my wife bought two of the water bottles less than a year ago, and one already has water inside, and the other isn't looking so great either. She switched to some other sports bottle. I may not even bother with sending these back in. I usually wait until I have 4 or 5 of them that need replacing so the shipping is worth it. Costs about $10 and within a week I have new ones at my door.

Check out coastalcoolersusa on facebook. It is a company in baton rouge. They are new to the market and have a great cooler for an awesome price. The purple and gold is the best looking cooler on the market
