I'm considering going to LSU school of law and want to take a tour of the campus and go to a game as well. I've never been to a game in Death Valley before and my schedule will only allow me to come the weekend of either Florida or Arkansas. Which one would be a better game to go to in yalls opinion? Both in terms of on-field play as well as good old fashioned team bashing/shite talking. I've got friends that go to grad school @LSU and I'm planning on buying nosebleed seats and just moving down to the students section with my friends. Would this be something that is easy to do? I did my undergrad at UTexas and people moved all around from regular sections and into the student section (considering you appeared college-aged).

Not gonna happen. You need to buy lower bowl tickets if you want to end up in the student section.

It depends on which team is better and which game means more at the time. Traditionally, the Florida game has been infinitely more fun, but with them being down a bit and the Arkansas game actually being on a Saturday now, it's probably a coin flip.

The chance of good Fall weather for Florida would make me pick it. Likely a night game too, so you'll have a good day to play on campus beforehand.

Arky will always have a lot of trash talking.. and pig roasts. (that could be a pun lol) but UF always brings a good crowd and also a lot of gator to be eaten if you've never tried it.. I'd say it's a toss up with the tiebreaker being who is the better team. Either way you can't really go wrong.

Only ways to do it are to buy a ticket in the lower bowl, the upper West side, or the South endzone areas. The East side is like an island, so if you plan on moving, dont get a ticket over here. Its still possible but very difficult to navigate. Ideally, Id recommend getting a ticket in the North endzone. As far as games go, I'd go with which ever game ends up being a night game. Both opponents will provide a decent game, but you sincerely want that entire day to soak up campus in all of its glory. But do pace yourself! Its a marathon, not a sprint.

Good luck with that

First of all, welcome to the fold.
Second, either of the two games will be great in terms of atmosphere. But Arky looks to be the stronger team going into the season.

Lastly, although LSU's law program is strong (top ~95 if memory serves), why wouldn't you go to UT's law school? They have one of the best programs in the country.

I'm currently studying for the LSAT and trying to get into BU or BC.

Don't listen to people who tell you you can't move from the upper deck to the student section. If you have balls and poise you can do it. Hell, you can get in without a ticket if you have nuts.

I'd wait to see if UF is a night game. If so, go! If not, gamble that Arky will be. Both games should be fun. I'd guess Arky will be more competitive.
