Miles, because of his 1960s style game plan, consistently puts our QBs in bad situations like 3rd and 8 or 3rd and 11 with a two receiver pattern.

I can only imagine the shite show our offense would have looked like in a true spread last year considering the only position group we could lean on was the O-Line.

Serviceable QBs will make us contenders.
Brandon Harris should be "Serviceable" this season.

He had his "Redshirt" last year (Even though he didn't technically RS) and if he's got "IT", "IT" should be displayed in 2015. No more excuses about not knowing the Playbook............

It's embarassing that LSU is STILL developing game plans to hide their QBs. How bout develop one already?

This is ridiculous.

It’s that in the NFL you need a franchise quarterback to win a championship

Funny, I remember the Baltimore Ravens winning a Superbowl. Their QB's:

8 Trent Dilfer
12 Tony Banks
7 Chris Redman

I like him too.

He said before the 11 championship that he didn't agree with Bama getting a second chance on the Finebaum show. (He's a big hit in Bama. )

He said I don't like rematches in anything. College football, checkers, nothing. It's like the kid next door. You beat him in a game of basketball and he says let's play one more. So the kid next door wins the next one and so you say OK one more but he's already left running back home with his ball. Nothing good comes out of that.

The only people who want a rematch are the losers.

Gary says intelligent things all the time. It's just that he's brutally honest about LSU and Les Miles and usually ruffles our feathers.

Its obvious , pass enough they can't hone in on our running attack, if they miss a couple of passes punt and get them on the next series, the pressure mistakes will vanish! Qbs who can forget their last mistake are hard to find so you can't keep reminding them ! I think our boys will just fine this year

.I think LSU needs to go back and understand what their quarterback brings to the table and not do too much.

The only thing we're asking the QB to be is bare-minimum competent. I don't think that's asking too much.

There are two things:

1. throw and complete the forward pass
2. get Les Miles as far from the qb as humanly possible(we clearly haven't tried this)

They just put this interview on ESPN radio. It was good. I am so ready for football season I don't even know what to do.

Yeah, Danielson seems confused as our QBs.

A&M game plan was exactly what the coaches should use with these particular QBs skill sets.

Not all defenses are as poor as A&M's. Maybe our success had more to do with A&M's poor defense than the actual plan. I find fans think it's the play the coach called or the coaches plan that won the game. In the end, it was that team executing better against a weaker or better team. I find the most successful teams are usually the most talented teams. It's the least talented teams that have creative coaches. The great coaches line up and beat you with better players. nothing fancy.

It's real simple to say, we need to call the plays and have a game plan like we did against team B (where we had success). Why didn't we do that against team A?

Maybe, Team A had a better defense, more d-line play on our side of the ball. Maybe it wasn't the play that was called or plan that was designed. Maybe it was just executing against a weaker defense.

Yes. What most rantards don't understand is that LSU's QB has to do more than Auburn's or Ohio State's. He has a lot more pre-snap reads. Those other schools have very elementary pre-snap reads, and then a very easy post-snap read of the DL.

Danielson knows football and knows that the reason LSU needs experience at QB is because the offense is complex. When we don't have the experienced QB we have to dumb down the offense, and that's when it becomes predictable.

Does he mean put fournette at an and let Darrell Williams play rb?

That wouldn't be to much, we could even let fournette throw the ball out of bounds a couple times to keep the defense on their heels.

That's keeping it simple.
