I haven't been there since 2000. I grew up in the Hampton Roads area (Navy brat). I miss that place. Did they ever finish 264?

Yeap, then had to turn around and partially redo it. They figured out the section running from the Norfolk bridge-tunnel had been built without the crown on the road. They figured it out 3 months before they were supposed to be done.

Actually, scratch that. I am thinking of the new interchange they built where 664 meets 64 in Hampton.

Talk about a colossal frick up. After 5 years of road construction, how do you miss the crown?

and yes, they did finally finish 264. Headed south they only ran it to 664. Many times I found that a quicker way to get back to Hampton from Va Beach than 64. Traffic is horrendous around there.

I always thought this one was Bluefield, WV. At least, that's what they tell me in Bluefield.

Bump. I'm assuming my 3 down votes are from the Tennessee faithful.
