In the quarter now. Heard central grocery has slipped. Who do you think has the best muff?

You heard wrong, my mom brought me one up Friday and it is great. Central is the spot.

Just looked at reviews and such and said bread has changed as well as different meat substitution. I was right by there when I posted so just went ahead and got one. I thought it was good.

The Tusa's are good people. I went to school with fat Mike.

Why would they possibly change the bread? That doesn't even make sense if you think about it. Glad you ignored such silliness and enjoyed your sandwich. Same as it ever was.

They admitted on the radio that they are keeping costs down by not stuffing the sandwiches with expensive top quality meats imported from Italy like they did years ago. But if you want a take out muff in the quarter, this is still the place to go. They are still very good.

Bakery that used to make all of the muff bread in the city has been closed sin Katrina. I had one a couple weeks ago and it was good no complaints here

Is Serio's still there? I liked that place.

Had one last week from Central. Still great in spite of $20.00 price tag. No where in the city can you get one this good - to me the bread makes it far better than anyone else's.
