Pennsylvania if you want great public schools, a job in the pharmaceutical industry, and good life

Not too far from other "destination" states such as CA and CO
Is Cali still considered a "destination" state? It seems like people are migrating out of there in droves.

Good choice. Might be my third favorite State.
S.E. Alaska is by far my favorite place in the country. Idaho is second.

I bet Mississippi caves to the current pressure and changes their flag.

Too many lunatic, bat shite Mormons.
Much better than other groups other there, like inner city people and such.

Live in Oregon but I'd consider Montana, Idaho, Washington, or Alaska in no order.
These states seem like they would be awesome to visit but Montana, Idaho and Alaska seem like they would be lacking a lot of good job opportunities... right?

Silicon Valley, Seattle, Denver, and Boston. In that order. Also assuming you've already found a girl to settle down with. The ladies in these areas are not easy on the eyes.

Of course, that's the only reason why I don't live outside Bend, OR now.

That's obvious. And frick you to you and your inbred state. Hell on Earth.

Have you ever heard of Texas? I'm going to assume not or you wouldn't be asking this question.

Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau have good job opportunity. Anchorage is attracting a lot of young college grads.

I love North Carolina
I agree. Virginia and North Carolina are my choices for the best states to live in.
Close access to beaches, mountains, farm land and great job opportunities.

Not very impressive when there were over 8 million births.

Lived in Richmond for several years as well. Virginia and North Carolina kick arse. Nothing bad to say about either.
