this guy is going to find out with LSU fans all over the country, hell, the world..this isn't GA Southern. Even with the online, GeauxZone, if you don't have it, or XM radio. Still, after dark, the Gulf South Giant WWL coming in all over the Eastern part of the Country, Midwest, not sure how far west 870 clear channel travels, but being the LSU radio guy is hotter than a Firecracker on the 4th of July.

Great hire IMO and the guy I wanted from the announced candidates. Him and Gordy Rush will make a good broadcast team.

Me too. But he's a color commentator and an aftershow host (albeit a very very good one).
I listened to all the clips in the thread of Blair and I'm genuinely excited about listening to him in the future. I can't tell you the last time I made an effort to listen to Jim Hawthorne.

Im glad Charlie didnt get it for no other reason than I love his post game show. I didnt want that to go away.
I also liked him for Baseball and if we were going local I would have been ok with Hanagriff.

You're right, the Tiger Zone or whatever it's called for 2 hours after the network signs off is much needed venting and therapeutic.

I am really impressed with LSU here ! This guy was hands down, THE best sounding of all of the candidates ... I look forward to hearing his calls ..
