You realize these guys will be broke within 5 years of the end of their career, right?
Basis for that statement? Honestly 5 years in their shoes isn't a bad thing and more living than a lot will do.
Tiesto says hey! LINK

How exciting!
"We went to a show and watched a guy push buttons and yell f-bombs into a microphone for 3 hours! It was the best live music I've ever seen!"

Not your cup of tea I get it, hot chicks going nuts to insane beats.

The amount of jealousy in this thread is damn funny.

Whatever floats your boat.
But your boat just happens to be a gay Disney cruise liner.

You can find hot chicks into all types of different music. I grew up playing the drums. I like playing around with the beat of things. I can appreciate that somewhat. Just not enough to completely base an entire musical genre off of it. And just because something is upbeat and can be "danced" to, doesn't mean it's something that I want to see in a concert. In a bar or "club" I can see. Listening to them on the drive to work, I just don't get. And to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of those types of bars.

That's pop country. There are many, many different sounds in the other types of country music. Most of the guys I listen to absolutely hate Nashville stuff, and only play bars, festivals, or the radio in TX. Sure if they wanted to, they could sound like everyone else and make $10 million a year, but they dont
A lot of DJs prerecord their songs or use a program to play them, and just pretend to do stuff while they're on stage. I know a relatively famous one that just uses a computer program to do it all
DJ not plugged in
Hard to watch, but another faker
Not plugged in again

Yeah, Tiesto has been around for bloody ever. I don't think he'll ever be hurting for money.

quote:Agreed that shitty bro country sounds the same.
Country music all sounds the same.
quote:I didn't say it was all equal, just a lot of the popular stuff sounds the same.
You have a lazy ear if you think all dance music is equal.
I have seen a decent amount of EDM artists, and understand there are many different genres. It much more about the atmosphere than the actual music.

Garrix ripped off a lot of Dimitri Vegas/Like Mike/Hardwell from Ultra Europe 2014.

Brian Transeau, aka BT. Classically trained pianist and student/alumni of Berklee School of Music. Probably one of if not the most authentic artist of the genre. Recorded the first ever EDM album designed to be played in 5.1. Scored several films and recently recorded a crowd funded album where he led an orchestra to put together his songs and recorded an additional album with them.
He's one of the few-if not the only-artist in the bunch. He was recording shite on a crappy label here in the states in the early 90's and had no clue whether anyone liked it. Two British DJ's in a duo group reached out to him and asked him to come to London.
He went and they took him to a club where thousands people lost their shite when his songs came on. He did all of Oakenfold's tracks and let Paul take a lot of credit where it wasn't due. Had years worth of sounds and stems stolen from his house. Ironically it was after he broke off from Oakenfold and went out on his own and Paul had no real music to continue his career arc with.
...sorry I blacked out. We were talking about EDM right?
