CWS Bracket 2 Preview: LSU, TCU, CSF, & Vanderbilt

The boys are back home in Omaha! The LSU Tigers are making their 17th trip to somewhere in middle America and are just 5 wins away from their 7th National Championship and first since 2009. The task at hand will not be an easy one with a very strong field in this year’s College World Series. LSU will compete in Bracket 2 with TCU, Cal State Fullerton, and Vanderbilt. The MLB Draft was held earlier this week and 22 players from these 4 teams alone were drafted in the top 10 rounds and 31 players overall. Now let’s get to the heart of the matter…
This won’t be the preview that you have come to know from me due to a schedule conflict, but I have provided all of the stat charts and such. There won’t be any commentary or scouting report to go with those stats. I also included a screenshot of Baseball America’s Magazine, which previews each team.

Prediction: Preston Guillory enters the game in the 8th inning and gives up his only earned run of the year for an LSU 3-2 victory.

Wait, are those CSF outfield assist numbers correct?
Also, thanks for the thread, mate.

Why don't they reseed the teams once they get to Omaha?

Vaught also played 3rd and Vargas played some 2nd. Really all of their defensive stats are skewed because of the interchanging that went on all year.
I typically would note that somewhere, but I was time constrained today.
