...but holy shite she has the soccer IQ of a potato.
Obviously, there was that whole ordeal in the early part of the 2nd half when she let her (wo)man run right past her, but beyond that, I'd like to see her passing chart because it seemed like every time she touched the ball, she was just booming it into whatever direction she was facing.
Possession be damned.

I think this is a Jill Ellis thing. It drives me insane. The lesser team should play boot-it ball... Hoping for lucky bounces... Not the more skilled team. It's like we're punting every time we get the ball hoping they muff it and we get a lucky goal. We're better than that.

I thought she played extremely well (in the 2nd half, everyone minus solo sucked in the first), minus a run or two from the Aussies.
Being as old as our team is, clearing the ball is literally the best thing she can do to let our mids get back and play defense.
Also. I'd put a WC baby in her.

Dude, she basically saved this game. She was much better defensively this game. The 2-1 against her and sh held her ground for souerbraun, however you spell it, was superb.
Yeah it sucks watching, too many passes not rt, but that's not why she is in the team. Lloyd was aweful, the subs just weren't rt.
