When was Dawson drafted? I missed that one ETA: I see he wasn't yet. He turned down 600k in talks prior to the draft?

Looks like he wasn't, but I think sometimes teams will make offers before drafting. He must have told them not to draft him because $650k wasn't enough

Trey Dawson IMO will start at SS from day one. He's as close to the next Bregman as you'll get. Leave Byrd to compete at 2B. Hope we can keep Ryan January C/OF. Great arm & bat.
