AD has been on the national radar since he was at Kentucky.
They won a national championship. He was player of the year.Then was the 1st pick overall. Then has budded into an NBA superstar.
Odell Beckham has been on the national radar for like 6 months.

Despite playing AD 82 games a season, OBJ was seen more.
Due to "the catch" he was even more exposed.
Your big stars in the NBA are Lebron, Kobe, Curry, Harden, KD and maybe a couple others...maybe. Not to say AD isn't a top player in the league, because I believe he is, but the media wouldn't have you believe that. There is no current "face of the NFL", but OBJ has a ton of hype.

More people know Anthony Davis' face in a landslide. OBJ could still walk around most places in the country without getting recognized. That makes Davis more famous.
