I don't see how. UNCW is a very good team BUT I would love to play Tulane tomorrow night.

Not against that team IMO. They will be a tough out.

Why not? Third uncw starter is 3-3 with 6.75 era.

Tulane has their Saturday starter Massey, the Baton Rouge Catholic kid, versus a much weaker one for UNCW.

We may have crushed UNCW's spirit tonight.

I still like their team though.

Hopefully their pitching is depleted by the time we get them. Would like to see Tulane get to a few of their pitchers.

Can they? Yes.

Will they? Probably not, but it is baseball and UNCW just lost an emotional game that went until 1AM. Tulane has been relaxing for a few hours already and will be more rested.

ETA: UNCW just expended a lot of physical and emotional energy, and Tulane has beaten them this year. It all depends on how UNCW bounces back...

Assuming UNCW does win, who do they have left?

Will uncw have another starting pitching performance like they got tonight? If yes, no.

Tulane is coming off a win.

UNCW got their bats sawed off and their will broken tonight.

I wouldn't be surprised by a TU win at all.

I hope so I would be bummed if we were in the same regional as Tulane and we didn't even get to send them back to new orleans crying.

Remember UNCW starting team BA is over 300. We will have to score more than we did tonight to beat them against Poche I think. That said I would rather Poche on the mound that whatever rag arm they will have left tomorrow night.

i feel like UNCW can go out there and take it up the arse from tulane after getting shut down like that. i can also see them coming out and raking their way out of the regional if poche isnt on his game tomorrow

UNCW isn't short on good relief pitching.

This

We got the edge because of Lange. Anyone else, they score 3-4 runs. We leverage it accordingly and win. The key is getting to starters and not trying to win or come back against relief pitchers. I think we are in good shape.
