Why cancel the card? Did they steal her card # or just get her password? I'm pretty sure if they stole the card they would have charged a 4D big screen.

How do you appeal the charges with Uber? I wanted to dispute an Uber charge in Chicago but didn't know how to contact them? It was charged over $66 for a ride from the airport to a suburb that should only have been around $30. Didn't know how to contct them so went through Paypal.

You could have been in surge, in which case there is a big thing on the screen telling you prices are higher at thag time. Either that or your driver took an extra 30 minutes to get wherever you were going... In which case you should have rated him a 1 star.
Fun fact, if their driver ratings go below 4.6/5 they are in danger of having their contracts with uber revoked. Oddest scale ive ever seen.

This has happened with a lot of uber accounts lately. The cause? Easy passwords. They're not really hacking.

Uber should Institute a policy of verifying the passenger's identity before beginning the ride.

I like when people do it, it lets you know right away that they have no education OR common sense and should be ignored.
