Honda 420 auto or manual

Getting a hunting bike soon and pretty sure I've decided on a Honda 420 but can't decide on a automatic or manual shift. Mainly just riding to the deer stand but may occasionally have to go through some pretty good mud. Probably only put WMA legal tires on it. Thanks for any help

I like shifting. And I like my automatic. Flip a coin. I would only suggest power steering. Great option.

I just bought one in feb. I chose the manual one. not really trustworthy of all the fancy shite.

If you are going stock tires and not planning on doing anything crazy on it I would go auto.

power steering

Is it an actual auto or that electric shift with auto option. Been a while since I looked at them?

My dad went from manual to electric and regrets it. I would rather a manual also

If you get an auto, see if they have a purse to match it

Lol. I am about to pull the trigger on one too. Brookhaven has the foot shift 2015 model for 4797 right now. My local dealer said 5999 and if i bought the same day he would knock 200 off!
Guess im driving north.

A lot of dealers price match. Tell them the price Brookhaven has, and see what they say

My foreman 500 was foot shift. That's pretty shitty if they changed that.

Is Brookhaven usually the best price wise for Hondas? I've seen them mentioned a bunch here.

Been a long time since I've looked. Could be thinking of yammys or the 420 with the IRS only being auto.

Some dealerships will beat them, but they are usually the standard to base your purchase price off of. Their business model is based off of high volume. Like the poster above said, they were $1000 lower than the place closer to him. They were probably making at least $300 off of the sale, so the dealership close to him was trying to make $1300 off of the sale. If they're gonna be that greedy, they deserve to go out of business

shite I think the only yammy that is foot shift is the big bear
Just went Google that shite. Looks like Yamaha has no foot shifts. They're all grizzly now also. No more big bear

I haven't bought one in 8 years and it was a 700 so no manual option. I've hunted out of my truck the last few years.
