So what seems to be the buzz about Jurrasic World?

I haven't done any research into this movie, have only seen the commercials for it on TV but in my opinion it looks like a flashy cash-in, good special effects and all that but no susbtance
Are people expecting this to be as good as Jurrasic Park was or is it just a cash-in like the 2 sequels Lost World and Jurrasic Park 3 were?

I like dinosaurs, as a kid I was fascinated by them. I have enjoyed all of the JP movies....yes even JP2. I don't see why this one will be any different.

I seriously doubt anyone expects this to be as good or even in the same universe as the original Jurassic Park.
However, I think it will be a fun action movie with comedic elements and great special effects of dino's chowing down on people. And if a person can't go to the movie and enjoy that, then they are miserable on the inside!

The action, effects, and set pieces look cool. The acting and cheesy dialogue has me slightly concerned from the clips I've seen.

Ummmmm....other than the ground breaking technology that finally brought dinosaurs to life in the first one, it was just your typical action movie.

Judging by the previews and what little I've read, I'd expect this to be better than the sequels. But again, what made the original special was "holy shite they made a movie with real dinosaurs!", that first can never be recaptured.

it looks to me that it is more or less the same story as the original, which i didn't think was all that great, so i expect it to be about the same.
