So you didn't read the article..you're just going off what everyone else is throwing in here...he brought him to the elders of the church, then told a cop who was a friend...we really don't know from there what happened, or I don't because I haven't seen the police report..

I fully expected it to be pulled at least temporarily, if not permanently. Agree or not with the network, I believe it's better for the Duggar siblings and the kids of the Duggar kids, especially Josh's. It will take time for this to die down, but they'll be better off sort of slipping out of the spotlight and becoming lower on the totem pole in terms of interest.
Were I parents in this situation, the first thing I would have done would have been to ask the network to pull the shows and at least temporarily not show any reruns or new episodes while my family and I dealt with the publicity in private and determined what was in the best interest of the family for the future.
Josh, I assume, will have to move back home unless he finds other employment in DC. Guess they could move to FL where Anna's family lives. I saw something about one of her sister's being contacted about this. I think she's got another sister who got pregnant outside of wedlock and who Anna and the Duggars allegedly shun. Think I read something about that. Another sad story.
In fact, assuming that to be true, it's hard to believe this sister wouldn't be forgiven when Josh was. I don't recall the facts, though.

I did read article, article states how them bringing him to a law enforcement article is doing the families due diligience of what should have been right thing to do.

This. When you turn your family into a commercial brand, you don't get to play the privacy card any more. It was all great when they were on TV and ole Jimbob was trying to leverage it into a political career. Now that spotlight is starting to get a little warmish, and they're not finding it nearly as fun or profitable.

Wow, if this is true about them shunning her sister for getting pregnant outside of marriage, they really are huge hypocrites for not shunning their child molesting son as well

This is the latest article I could find which disputes the shunning of the sister by the Duggars. I never saw this article.

I didn't realize cousin Amy was born out of wedlock. Article says that was common knowledge, but I'm not up on all the Duggar facts.

Wait, wait, wait. You are telling me that Christians can disagree with a persons lifestyle choices and yet somehow treat them with love and respect. All the Christians I know make all the sinners in their family set at the sinners table on holidays. This is shocking indeed. Looking past a persons sin to see their value as a human? That is a new concept I'm going to have to think about as a Christian.
