Roose. As cold hearted as Roose comes off, he's not an incredibly bad person. He betrayed the Starks because when Theon took Winterfell, he knew the war was lost and started looking for ways to preserve his family. I think Roose gets way too much shite for what he has done.

Anyway, the reason I want Roose to is because I think he hates Ramsay deep down. The only reason he hasn't killed Ramsay is because he needs an heir. And every time (in the books at least) that Roose had a son, they all mysteriously died in their cribs. Everyone including Roose knows that it was Ramsay who killed his legitimate heirs. So I would like to see Roose get his long awaited revenge against his bastard.

Ramsay poisoned the one child (Dom?) that survied, he didn't kill the babies. Roose told his son not to go and see Ramsay but he wanted to meet his brother.

If you are WILLING to mug me, and you are PSYCHOLOGICALLY SCREWING with my mind, and you TELL me to bite the pillow...I mean get out my wallet, and then I do it without resisting because I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE CAPABLE OF, you still mugged me.

is it customary and completely legal for him to take your wallet?

If I'm his servant, it probably is.

ETA: Look, I've said several times in this thread that according to the laws of Westeros, he didn't legally rape her. But he definitely screwed with her head, and screwed her when she obviously didn't want any part of the sick bastard. You can call it what you want, but at the very least it was psychological and sexual abuse.

Roose provided for his bastard, but he didn't bring him home. Ramsay didn't get 'invited' to the Dreadfort until his brother died.

But if we were of the same class, then I was mugged?

I didn't mention race, that was all you buddy.

I think we now know a little more about this woman (or women) that you "didn't coerce".

I totally agree about the psychological abuse

I just read up on it. Ramsay killed Dom and that was it. So I think Roose hates Ramsay but only keeps him around because he needs at least some heir in case he dies. If fat Walda has a boy, I bet Roose has him dealt with.

Roose knows (or strongly suspects) that Ramsay killed Dom, but he also said that he was unwilling to have any new children because he didn't expect to live long enough to raise the kid to manhood, and he thought that "lordlings" were the bane of any house.

You think he'll have Ramsay kill the child? I don't.

Ah. Yeah, that makes more sense, but it does contradict what I said about him not wanting a boy lord succeeding him.

Why are so many calling that "rape"

It was on her wedding night, she did NOT say "no" or try to fight it. It was unpleasant sex for her. It was degrading for her. But, it was in no way..."rape". She made a decision to go along with this scenario. She doesn't LIKE what she has to do. But, it is 'willing' in that sense.

I agree. I don't get the outrage. I thought it was a relatively mild scene compared to many in GoT. There was no nudity or torture. Theon's anguished expression was actually ridiculous considering the context; a man merely fricking his wife on his wedding night.

I listed these before. But, given these two people's past:

Theon:
Tortured
Dick cut off and eaten in front of himslf
Beaten
Broken

Sansa:

watches her dad get his head chopped off
Mother and brother murdered
BELIEVES two younger brothers were burned to death
Her sister is gone and she has no idea if alive or dead

However, she gets fricked and Theon has to watch it...and THAT is the "horror"?

Well in fairness most of these people and websites are also the same ones who are complaining that there isn't enough floppy dicks shown in comparison to tits.

me personally I don't think it was rape. It was rough unpleasant sex and she sure wasn't thrilled about it. Some people talk about her agonizing sounds...she is a virgin getting run through roughly by an a-hole, what do you want sounds of pleasure? Even if he was gentle the shite probably still hurt! There was definitely psychological abuse, but as someone else said I think they did this to demonstrate the killing off of the last vestige's of Sansa's innocence. I think she turn the corner in the future and grows stronger because of this. I think it will be a pivotal point in her characters evolution.
