I didn't ask if the innocent folks were still locked up. I can't believe they are still being made to pay the stupid tax if they are still in jail though. They've paid for their very poor decisions to mingle with criminals openly.

It was a COC meeting open to all riders. But keep believing the horseshite lies. People having their constitutional rights violated and treated like they're in the old Soviet Union or Nazi Germany is perfectly fine as long as they are people you don't like. Pathetic.

You've already made up your mind. I'm waiting for all the facts to come out.

I didn't realize aledged Bikers were so whiney. Sheesh. America has some of the most ignorant and arrogant, entitled whiney people on the face of the earth. It's disgusting.

You do something stupid you get locked up for a sec, pay out lots of money to go free. Been there done that and yes I blame myself when I am wrong and don't act like a 4 year and deny and blame everyone else. Call me old school and I hate this new school whiney crap.

Police state? What the he'll are you whining about? I do want the police there when I am trying to enjoy a beautiful Sunday afternoon out dining or whatever with my family "unarmed" and a buncha whiners pull guns and other weapons in a childish melee putting honest decent peeps in harms way. Heck yeah I want them present.

I agree with Darth on this, and before you say I too have made up my mind, yes I have on one issue and one issue only, and that is that they have a large number of completely innocent people locked up with no way to get out due to a stupidly high bond set.

How do we know which ones are innocent yet? That seems to be the big issue.

I imagine all the interviews were the same...

Did you fire a weapon?

No, I'm innocent.

I've seen enough facts to know two things at this point.

1. Something did happen in Waco that day. But whatever it was, the story being told by the Waco PD is not a full, fair, and honest assessment of whatever that was.

2. A whole lot of innocent people were rounded up by the Waco PD and have been sitting in jail for over two weeks for doing nothing more than riding a motorcycle and exercising their constitutional right of free assembly. I'm sure some of the people in jail are guilty of something, but most are not guilty of anything.

And the fact so many innocent people have been sitting in jail this amount of time is disturbing. But what's even more disturbing is that so many on here who I'm sure profess to love this country, it's freedoms, liberty, and adherence to law, are all perfectly fine with having so many of their fellow citizens have their rights shite upon just because they don't like they way they look.

Guess the concept of innocent until proven guilty is beyond your ability to comprehend.

They won't think it so cool when it comes knocking on their door.

How do they, the innocent ones, look?

I don't care how they look.

How are they supposed to determine who was innocent so quickly? Believe everyone? Including the criminals?

It's a tough situation for sure. I'm sure Obama will care enough to help soon and send in his people.

I'll tell you the same thing I told him. In this country you're innocent until proven guilty. In Waco this concept has been turned on it's head. These people are rotting in jail having to prove their innocent. And by your statement, you're perfectly fine with that. Once again, if you profess to love this country and what it stands for, how the hell can you be good with what's going on in Waco?

Do we know this for a fact? I know it is being reported on biker blogs, and I know there are club members in jail who weren't involved in the fracas, but I'm guessing a sizable swath are still of a criminal persuasion.

I'm not saying that process permits those people to remain locked up right now, I just don't have the confidence that you do that they're "not guilty of anything."

that's for a jury, not for the police. Innocent people get arrested. Trials sort it out.

Just saw this morning, some have gotten reduced bond and been freed.

I honestly don't know how big Waco and the PD is, will probably take a sec to investigate 170 individual cases. And another little bit for a judge to look over the case. I could see that as why they just locked up everyone. So they can determine who did what and deescalate the situation.

Said it before. Being one of those in jail for a sec, seems like a lot better than being one of those who is dead.
