Can u quite the Waco trib link to the news? I couldn't get the link to open. Thanks.
I think that kid that killed his mom and shot up that school up north and commited suicide used his moms assault rifle. His mom was doing some kind of training with a group of local semi-militants to protect the community should shut break out.

I often wonder if much if America is just insane. Doesn't make any sense to always be prepared for killing. And I'm former USMC.
LOL. I edited it. I do think some people are actually allergic to fun though. Be obsessed over guns and fighting all the time I guess. I dunno man.
I've always been a supporter of the right to own a gun. Not to shoot people, but to perhaps hunt if you needed to. Guns to me are merely tools. 50 years never had to pull one on anybody. Just a freekin gun to me.

But, not a day goes by where I don't open my news apps and read perhaps dozens of news stories both local and national. What do I see too much of? Senseless gun violence. Husband shoots wife and kids then himself. The school shooting several years ago. The aurora theatre shooting. Ferguson MO. Baltimore. Even in my community which used to be a very safe place, I am reading about shootings on almost a daily basis. Drunks getting in arguments and killing each other. Even family members, like the other day this young guy violently beat his mother to death over an argument about his school grades or some stuff like that. There were at least 38 murders in Baltinore in the month of May.

It's really getting ridiculous. Not just all about guns but violence in general. There is something wrong with how people are thinking these days. There is no way in hades I would ever be a cop. They get little respect even though they may face life and death and make decisions in those situations and are often blamed when the situation turns out like the public didn't want it to. Collateral damage is unfortunate, but damn. Just don't be there and be in that situation.

This is a very unfortunate ordeal. I am beginning to wonder if typical Americans should have gun rights. But, it would be impossible to take guns away from us. There are just too many of them and they are easy to get legally or illegally.

Anyway, hope Waco gets this mess worked out soon. Releases some investigative information to put this behind us and move the communities forward. Just a thought.
Yep Darth. This whole mess is very unfortunate. It should have never happened in the first place. I still shake my head thinking about how this all went down. It's tragic that an alleged innocent man died that day. Yet, none of this would have happened had they just held their little meeting, perhaps drank a few beers and enjoyed the fellowship. But, somebody started this mess knowing the cops were outside. It's unfortunate no doubt bro. But, hind sight means this should never happen again. The bikers need to act like adults and respect civies.

Ugh. What a mess. No matter how this turns out, this will always just be a fexkin mess to me. Shoulda never happened.
Ambush? I don't know what you are referring to, but based on the facts in witness accounts and especially the photos, I am sure EVERYONE knew the cops were outside locked and cocked. Yet.........

Now, 200 peeps, many with biker patches. I don't know how many cops were actually there, but I am assuming there were multiples of that in patch wearers.

One pulls a gun and pop. Cops outnumbered. Nearby businesses teaming with civvies. Cops are people too and were outnumbered by multiples.

NOW ASSUMING YOU WANT TO GO HOME TO YOUR WIFE AND CHILDREN AT NIGHT? What miracle would you have performed as a cop to ensure the safety of the civilians, your brothers the other cops, and assure you get to hug your children tonight? Huh?

That's why they arrested them all. And to make sure they put this fire out once and for all and some other crap didn't start up later that Eve or the next day down the street. It's called a cool off period. I think it worked.

It all come out in the end. I for one agree with Sarge, that if you hang around trouble enough you eventually will find trouble.

RIP to those who flies in this silly childish melee. Anyone who wears a patch should be embarrassed at what patch dudes did. Just my opinions and I'm all about healing now. Including those truly involved I hope they can learn and grow from this knowing you just can't pull this kinda crap in public putting innocent people in harms way over this childish behavior.
Hey man. I don't have enough REAL information to criticize although I do assure you I question a lot of things in our judicial process. My intent in making the previous post, was that, and as I think I posted on teusday, it's good to see that they are moving forward and reclassifying bonds so that some of those hang arounds can get back to their lives.

I assure you my opinion that what has taken place here is tragic has not changed. Uncalled for entirely. But, we need to move forward and heal up the community, and hope that those families who may be suffering from losing a loved one will also heal.

This ain't about bikers. I could care less about them. At the end of the day they like me and everyone else are just people and we all need to learn to respect the rights of others and the crap that went down is Waco is stupid and people died. Someone must be held accountable to deter others from being involved in this silly childish behavior in a civilian environment ever again.

Let's pray and heal our communities here in America. God bless the family of the fallen Vietnam veteran. Semper Fi bro, RIP.
How about some relative information to reality to thwart some of the opinionated conjecture. Also keep in mind I posted the other day that there would be more bond hearings today.

Quote from the link below.

"As of Thursday afternoon, 50 bikers had bonded-out, 127 remained in the McLennan County Jail."

Good to see that some of the lessor involved are being set free to get back to their lives.
I dunno either. Been riding over 40 years all over the country on all kinda bikes and I tell ya. It's fun if your in the mood, but so a are a hosts of other experiences. Some peeps like to ride horses. That's cool if that's there thing. Some like to ride jet skis, surf boards, skate boards, planes, trains, automobiles lol. Ben there done that too. lol

Ride on. Nothing to be seen here.
From the link. ON TOPIC BTW. Not about personal stuff while these guys are still stuck in jail.

"Reyna says the first set of bond reduction hearings is scheduled for June 5."

Great. I'm just sitting in my office and was thinking I could play some poker on my phone. Like for real money. But, kinda bored with that and have seen all the American Restoration and Counting Kars episodes on Netflix. Almost break time and I gotta pee anyway, so.... Maybe I'll take a nap when I get back from break. How do yall do those emoticons on a phone? Thanks.
Told ya. Everybody gonna get sued. What a freeking mess.

"WACO — The Dallas-based Twin Peaks franchisor has filed a lawsuit to revoke the franchise agreement of the Waco restaurant location, nearly two weeks after a deadly shootout took place there.

That lawsuit, filed May 27, seeks $100,000 in relief as well as "non-monetary relief." That number was determined May 20, prior to discovery, and the franchisor reserves the right to seek "appropriate" monetary relief after discovery, the lawsuit states.

The documents states that three days prior to the incident, the Waco franchisee agreed in a telephone call with the Twin Peaks franchisor to verify and enforce certain priorities of the Twin Peaks national office, including "implementing proper security measures to ensure the safety of the Waco restaurant's guests and team members during the event."

The lawsuit also claims that the Waco location's management asked or directed Waco law enforcement to leave the premises immediately prior to the event.

In the request to terminate the franchise agreement, the lawsuit states: "The termination highlights Twin Peaks National's continuing commitment to providing a safe and friendly environment for our guests. Twin Peaks will always be grateful to the officers who risked their lives in Waco to protect the public."

So you admit you are at work? Playing with your phone when you should be productive? So.... What is politically correct. Loafer or slacker? ;-)
I think I called them immature, childish and silly. I may have thrown in a few more like whiney, ignorant arrogant and entitled. But, I believe you coined trashy. Do you take a shower? Do you wear clean clothes while out in public? Do you care about your personal appearance? Do you dry clean your patches so you don't reek out in public?

Electraglide is probably a pretty bike. I'm still down with the V-Max and like 187 horses, but 15k for something that mostly sits in the garage? On the fence.
HaHa. I'm medicinal bro. Takes away the anxiety and helps me sleep. Yeah I don't wake and bake. Just weekends, evenings and when in Colorado. ??
I just got back from vaca and had to go through airport security twice. Had to take off belt and shoes, empty pockets and no, I didn't have a pocket knife, lighter or anything else on me except keys, phone, wallet and maybe a few receipts. No carry ons either. Got my palm scanned and felt up on both ends. I think they have like a pop up and screeners have quotas. This check behind his knees or whatever. Next ankles.

Unfortunately, that is the world we are creating. The noid is strong. The weapons are being used to kill innocents just going about daily life. Like I said earlier. It's all about that person in the mirror and I personally try to keep to mine and my own bizness. Don't have time to be caught up in other people's drama. Although I do spectate from the outside through watching and reading the media.

In the mean time, the peace makers like the screeners are just doing their jobs to feed their families. Talked to a cop friend in lunch and he's just a regular Joe like the rest of us. And these rules, well they are in place to protect the rest of us civilians who are just trying to work, pay the bills and enjoy our lives. I like copacetic on my end. Stress free and I try to not draw much attention to myself. I am not 100% a law abiding citizen. But, I'm solid because I don't harm others, steal or disrespect others. So what if I roll a spliff? I don't deal in it and I don't drive around all buzzed up potentially having an accident and harming innocents.

Just saying man. No one is 100% innocent but, some tend to put themselves into self destructive situations. Over and over again without making change to their own lifestyles to avoid these conflicts.
I still don't carry a weapon. I feel if I ever need to carry, I am either doing something wrong or hanging around the wrong places or peoples. Yeah I drink beer whiskey moonshine and maybe have a spliff now and again. But, I'm totally chill and hand with other chill people. It's saying.
It is impossible to have a conversation with you about this. You view it too far from an insiders perspective.

You've obviiously never spent a couple of weeks in jail. It's boring as feck, might be hot and uncomfortable. Food is crap. Have to smell other dudes stank all day.

But, il tell ya. It makes you reflect if you are on the fence. Some are not correctable and it will become their lifestyle. Some will just be all like. Man, I ain't doing this shite any more.

For a little comedy relief. Perhaps you remember this Darth. I laughed my arse off for days watching this unfold.

"Bartlett said he uses donations and special deals to make money. As an example, Bartlett said he and a neighboring sheriff recently split the $1,000 cost for an 18-wheeler full of corn dogs.

Prisoners testified they ate corn dogs twice a day for weeks"

lol. Corn dogs! Read the whole story here. Cracks me up. Wrong yeah kinda. Cruel? Maybe a little tiny. Punishing for sure, especially in our entitled society.

Yeah that's probably not a good idea. I'm a pretty peaceful guy. But at the end of the day if you ain't family or a friend I honestly don't have a soft spot for many others.
Just saw this morning, some have gotten reduced bond and been freed.

I honestly don't know how big Waco and the PD is, will probably take a sec to investigate 170 individual cases. And another little bit for a judge to look over the case. I could see that as why they just locked up everyone. So they can determine who did what and deescalate the situation.

Said it before. Being one of those in jail for a sec, seems like a lot better than being one of those who is dead.
I didn't realize aledged Bikers were so whiney. Sheesh. America has some of the most ignorant and arrogant, entitled whiney people on the face of the earth. It's disgusting.

You do something stupid you get locked up for a sec, pay out lots of money to go free. Been there done that and yes I blame myself when I am wrong and don't act like a 4 year and deny and blame everyone else. Call me old school and I hate this new school whiney crap.

Police state? What the he'll are you whining about? I do want the police there when I am trying to enjoy a beautiful Sunday afternoon out dining or whatever with my family "unarmed" and a buncha whiners pull guns and other weapons in a childish melee putting honest decent peeps in harms way. Heck yeah I want them present.
