How is that area trending? Seems like there are a few nice family-friendly neighborhoods along that stretch, but I'm not as familiar with that side of town.

I wouldn't spend over 300k for a home in EBR. I'd rather go to Ascension.

We live in Oakridge with young kids and like it. Close to perkins Rowe and the Manship YMCA. Convenient to LSU. Really, the only downside so far for us is having to send kids to private school.

That area is a traffic nightmare which is a huge factor for me.

I rented a house in Wimbledon for a year. Best party house ever.
