They have already won basketball and football, playing for baseball title. They would be the first school in Alabama to do this. Has any other state had this happen?

Add to that the Madison Academy QB/SS hooking up with a duck dynasty daughter and you get an even more rare and coveted Grand Slam.

I'm sure it's happened before. Stanislaus won football, baseball and soccer in 09-10, but lost in the basketball final that year. They came back the next year and won basketball though.

Just kidding, that's quite the athletic year.

OCS has won Football, Baseball and Track state titles in the same year recently. They've never been able to floor a decent hoops team though...

That's really impressive. I'm pretty sure Canton McKinley has won football and basketball in the same year, and I think St. Vincent-St. Mary's has done it too, but I can't remember anyone in Ohio pulling off the triple crown.

In 1946 Jesuit went undefeated and won titles in football, baseball, basketball and track

That's cool, but that's entirely too long ago to consider that big of an accomplishment. How many schools were there even in LA at that time, and how many played sports? I could talk about how Doc Blanchard's Heisman is in the lobby of my HS, but 90% of the people on here wouldn't have a clue who he is.

Well they did it. Madison Academy won the baseball title and captured the Triple Crown. tGOAT high school sports program of Alabama.

Private schools won the baseball title in 1A, 2A, and 3A. They really should tighten down on this. I played ball for a small school that had moderate success, and in these smaller classifications, private schools have a big advantage. I think it's bush league.

No, apparently your team was bush league.

At the pinnacle of WM's holdback era, we won football-3 peat, baseball, softball, boys and girls powerlifting, girls basketball, track, and I think the boys basketball lost in the semifinals to St Aug. Class of 99.
LHSAA changed the rules after that year.
