I guess that's not awful. But the exterior of the box is much much nicer.

I edited my post to show the comparison...

...and there is none. The Box blows it away.

And I don't think many people appreciate how nice of a job was done on the fence at The Box...

I'm hoping LSU has a string of big years coming up, so we can build on what we have.

I'm not saying more capacity, but....

-If you want the new Box to be as loud and intimidating as the old, you give the students a large outfield to sit like Ole Miss and what Bama has done.
-We're a major program. It's time we part ways with bleachers
-360 degree concourse
-MOAR suites like Baum.
-Something extra like State is doing with their condos. I doesn't have to be that, maybe even a fantastic club layout in left or right field.

Only TOG would truly appreciate the detailing of fencing. bertman must have gotten a big bargain

I wonder what our next project is. Please be new PMAC scoreboard and Bernie Moore renovation...wouldn't be mad at a Phase 2 of teh Box

I created that persona with the Aggie fans. Now I'm living it.

Edit: And it would be Phase 3. Phase 2 was when they added the newest suites to the end of the overhang.

What the frick is a berm?
It is what earl companies and chemical companies construct around their storage tanks - to keep the product from flowing out on River road and the Mississippi river. Makes the air super clean - between B R and NOLA.

Gotta do something about that "Dollar General" Tarp being used a Batters Eye!

It's tacky beyond belief and totally unacceptable.

How freaking hard is it to construct a Batters Eye of solid material?

A high school industrial arts department could come out and do it in short time!

Chair backs in one color all the way around too.....

LSU should have done all chair back seating. Looks so much better.

LSU set the standard for what stadiums should look like and now schools are upgrading to be better than us. Hopefully TAF realizes the need to upgrade in the next few years.

Would love to see 360 degree concourse, all chair backs down the lines and a berm similar to Ole Miss.

I like Alex Box but just from the pictures I've seen I like Carolina Stadium better. Most of the reasons have been mentioned, chair backs, batter's eye, the "permanent" bleachers on the foul lines. The metal bleachers at the box make it look cheap. Also, I like the bullpens in the outfield. The outside of the box looks a lot better. Tiger Stadium in the background is awesome but something needs to be done to make the area behind center field look better.

what is the third base and first base club like for Carolina Stadium, the champions club at the box is really nice. Best seats in the box and a nice area to hang out during breaks.

Does Carolina have metal bleachers instead of chair backs along the 1st and 3rd foul lines? If they have chair backs, their stadium is shite.

After seeing pictures of USCe stadium vs. Alex Box, I would take USCe all day. Alex Box had so much potential but went cheap with the metal bleachers.

Carolina Stadium is very nice. Seats are great. I will be there tonight. But it isn't the same as the Box.
