Actually, yes. That's exactly right.
ETA: Some people are saying that he's pissing on her. I don't know what to think about that. Others are saying he's holding a gun up to her head or something.

He holds the gun up to his own head.

and then he puts the gun in front of his waistband. he's prolly just got his hand on it.
the DCCU has disaster written all over it.

Hardy was in talks to take on the role of Rick Flagg, the leader of the Suicide Squad, but he was subsequently forced to drop out over scheduling conflicts. Joel Kinnaman eventually took over the role, but when Steve recently spoke with Hardy at the press day for Mad Max: Fury Road, the actor discussed his fondness for the script and concept for Suicide Squad (Note: “alley” means “right up there with the best”):
“Warner Bros. is my home studio and I love them so I was really bummed out. I wanted to work on that and I know the script is really fricking alley and I also know what’s gonna happen with The Joker and Harley Quinn in that; I won’t give away too much…it’s fricking alley. And that whole territory is something that I would certainly—I mean, everybody loves The Joker. Everybody loves The Joker. Will Smith is a dope guy, but everybody loves The Joker and that’s gonna, I think, be a very important film for fans.”

On a side note, Tom Hardy is working on a secret DC project at the moment:
quote:LINK
“I actually got something cooking with Warner Bros. which is also a comic book, it’s a DC thing which is kind of… It’s really good actually, it contains elements of all kinds of stuff. From Ocean’s Eleven, to Batman, you can get all the wrappers out and it would be a big, really cool, Technicolor, Pulp Fiction…It’s a psychological f**kfest, it’s absolutely awesome. It’s as if you would take Transmetropolitan and make it happen, but it’s not that out there it’s something which is much more real world. It could be like Heat, it could be f**king awesome. Let me tell you what it is, try and guess.”
Hardy goes on to say, “It’s not even a movie,” but it’s apparently something big.
“It’s already… It’s real estate, it’s PRIME real estate which is sitting there right under everybody’s nose that no one’s really thought about yet and it goes TV and movie, it’s awesome. I can’t believe that nobody has even –I know they thought of it but no one has actually blown life into it yet.”

I have no idea what he could be talking about. Shall we make a new thread for that tidbit and decipher it to death? I am really curious now.

All yours, man. Go for it.

Nope, I know better. I'll just discuss it here. Though things have been kind of slow lately...
Based on what he said regarding style....Dr Fate?

I sure hope not, that might be crossing the line a bit

Maybe. My guess is Lobo. I've heard there's a script already written for it. I think he'd be good in that role.

I would many many dollhairs to see him play Lobo. That being said...
After re-reading it I dont think it is a "superhero" comic. He mentions Transmetropolitan, which is another DC property, but says his project is "much more real world". Lobo and Dr Fate anything but real world.
I dont know the DC comic book properties outside of the superhero realm. Do they own something similar to Dick Tracy? that was highly popular once upon a time?

Absolutely this. They wont do it, but I think it is obvious that is what he is miming. Its probably some sort of gag, or they have someone stop him before he does it. I can just see the SJW headlines waiting on that scene if they even hint at a pissing on her joke.
If they actually have him do it....whew.

The main reason I say Lobo, is because he's somewhat comparable to Punisher as far as an anti-hero and they've already had plans for him. Hardy has recently said he wanted to play Punisher and I bet WB offered him a similar role. As far as it being a "real" atmosphere, they can make it work that way, IMO. There are many ways to go with Lobo. I guess we'll see.

Would be an awesome thing to set themselves apart from Marvel. Especially if they have an R Kelly song playing in the background.

Could also easily be a role in Sandman. Last I heard that movie was still in the works. It would fit the description.
