I'm guessing that's not really an official statement...but I'm wondering how much more they need before teams will think about him.

Well, if they've he said he's not a suspect, to me that opens the door for Lael and his lawyer to say, "if I'm not a suspect you need to get this straightened out because I currently can't take a job because of this." Basically book me or let me go.

If what I heard was true, you will then understand.
FWIW, I am surprised he is not arrested right now. Hopefully that means what I heard is false.

But wouldn't that ultimately get him charged with conspiracy to commit murder? The way that post is written, it sounds like that in investigating the murder, cops found something else entirely on La'El and that is what he would be in trouble for. Which if even remotely true, would be an even weirder story than what we currently have.
