it seems some people want La'el to be guilty of this heinous crime while the police say he isn't even a suspect.

I agree, and im not sure why people continue to imply he is a suspect when from every possible outlet, they say he isnt. It very well may change, but anyone who has enough information to know that sure as hell isnt posting about it on a message board.

You said yesterday you wouldn't say any more until after he met with police. Well, he met with police. Tell us what you know.

If he had sat down with them then instead of trying to avoid it,

bullshite!

He came home Friday and waited three days.

He was fricked with the timing being only a few days before the draft.

There is no good way to handle the police wanting to question you days before the NFL draft.

He also said he'd be shocked if La'El wasn't in handcuffs before he left the precinct. He's full of shite and a troll. Anyone who claims to have any source is.

I think it's extremely irresponsible to speculate on the matter either way. I'm hoping he's completely uninvolved, but there's just absolutely no way to know. I'm hoping for his sake it's resolved quickly.

I agree with you. See this situation is why I have concerns about Black Baton Rouge athletes going to LSU. I hate to say this but as a Black person I find the Black community in Baton Rouge to be too toxic and familiar to many of these athletes. A lot of the Blacks in Baton Rouge are jealous of these hometown athletes and will try to destroy their lives. I want to see La'el succeed in the NFL and get the hell away from Baton Rouge for a while.

Man that is disconcerting. Is that your speculation or do you speak from personal knowledge. I would hope they would want to protect their own.

He even said that in his opinion, La'el will never been an NFL player.

If you take the stance that he is guilty then that is not that far of a stretch comment to make.

I love when all these people with inside information come out the woodworks. Mob ties to Auburn football, Saban getting his debts paid off to coach florida, 5 for 5, Miles to Michigan again and the numerous DC's that LSU handed contracts to this past December....

You would think that but that hasn't been what I've witnessed.

where else are they supposed to come from? u mad cause you don't have a pre-emptive list of all poster's possible contacts through various channels of their lives before a random issue occurs?

Neaux shite.

I posted a thread making this point last week and it got whacked (maybe because I used the word 'accused' - have no fricking clue).

Anyway before that injustice to my creation, a whole lot of folks weighed in about how this is so much different because:

It's a murder case -like Ray Lewis didn't face that rap in a COURTROOM.

Or that times or different for the NFL now -like the point you just emphasized doesn't exist.

Or teams have too much on the line to risk/sacrifice the financial exposure or accrued value of the pick -a)any contract could include an out, 2)how much financial exposure would there have been for a team with leverage to pick him in a much lower round?, finally)how much really gets lost if a team misses on a first round pick anyway? Seems to me like it's not even a 50/50 proposition as it is. Besides, a team that bet right could've had a steal.

The whole thing looks a lot like a common black-balling by the NFL, IMO.

In any case, nothing published indicates he's materially involved in this person's murder.

So unless it's published, there's no way he could be connected? Are you privy to all the relevant but unpublished facts, theories, suspects?
