The Bulldog BR is now smoke free & will serve lunch daily

They are doing a 4/20 promo at the one down here.

I know a certain beer blogger that will be pleased

well the 5 regulars always at the corner of the bar will be pissed

I smoke and usually go every Wednesday. I might change my day to Thursday now because its damn near impossible to get a patio at 630 on a nice day

I don't many people that strictly go eat BD food for dinner or lunch

yes people go to BD to drink and smoke with the luxury of getting to sit inside

"Smoke free" = prohibits smoking at establishment.

Bulldog = allows smoking at establishment; claims to be "smoke free."
(still permitted on patio, which is a large chunk of the bar and the only area you can have a dog, which is, like, the whole gimmick of the bar).

The general expectation for a lot (most?) of the country is to NEVER allow smoking indoors, and a "smoke free" business wouldn't permit it in its outdoor dining areas.

Bulldog gets no respect or props for this one in my mind. A bold and better move would be to axe smoking in the establishment all together and force smokers to move to a designated area outside the bar.
