I hope that if the two cops are convicted that any convictions they worked on are immediately thrown out and anyone on probation or incarcerated is freed immediately. They are liars and their testimony can't be trusted.

It wasn't the trooper. Looks the like CEO paid an employee and two cops to plant drugs on his brother
Ah, that makes more sense. Obviously, it exposes these cops as liars who have no problems ruining people's lives in order to make a buck.
What was the CEO's motive?

He probably wanted to get his brother kicked out of a trust or something similar.

Felonies don't usually revoke trusts. They do kick you out of companies though. However, being the brother of a convicted felon doesn't help business. I don't understand how people who are so successful can be so dumb. This likely wasn't going to end well, either way.
Not to mention, how could you do something like that to somebody, much less your own brother?

These guys aren't hurting, or at least shouldn't be, that's a pretty fricked up thing to do to your brother for some more $.

Check out what the Koch brothers have done to one another, and those pricks are billionaires.

I thought they were buddy buddy, seemed that way in an interview I saw awhile back, or are there more than just the two that always get brought up political BS.

Charles and David are the ones behind Americans for Prosperity and the other political ads you see. David has a twin brother, Bill, who they ran out of the company. They bought out Bill and a few other relatives for $1.1 billion. Bill turned around and sued Koch Industries for hiding assets and lowballing the stock valuation. They fricking hate each other.

Mark Knight is one of the most prominent businessmen in Lafayette
If they can link the plot to him this is a huge story
Obviously Russell manual is the fall guy, how long until he rolls over?

This looks very bad.
I have a naturally high opinion of Mark Knight, as I was a Boy/Cub Scout leader in the school troop he was in charge of a few years ago. He was a great leader and a good man.
Doesn't make him infallible, so

If I'm thinking of the same sutuation, the guy bought the car from JP Thibodeaux. They don't sell Caddy's but ordered one for him. He had some problems with it and he blamed the dealership.

I don't know the details, but he bought a lemon, then put that car on display along the highway for all to see for more than a year, expressing his displeasure with the manufacturer.
