You guys can laugh it up all you want. There is a reason why we are bad at QB more than we are good. If it's just bad luck we have had a bad run of it!
We will continue to be bad at the QB position for several more years. Neither of the current QBs on the roster will be anything other than mediocre players. MAYBE, if BH stays until his Sr year he will get it done.
At the end of the season if we win more than 10 games I will never post of the Rant again!

The QB position has directly caused us to lose one National Championship and not play for atleast one more.
It's a team game. Mett was a very fine QB and he had top quality receivers, but he didn't get to the title game at all due to shortcomings elsewhere on the roster.

All historical facts. What does any of this have to do with the QB play in 14 and more importantly 15?
Being proud of the past is fine and I personally love history. LSU being QBU is just asinine.

Tell that to the NFL teams that lose every year because they don't have a QB worth a shite.
Only the center touches the ball more than the QB. He is the most important player on the team and can directly help you win or cause you to lose.
I don't even know how you guys can defend the QB play we saw last year. There are a lot of highschool QBs that step on college campuses every year that play better than our QBs did last season. How can an LSU qb be ranked 96th in the nation?

There's basically no difference between #20 and #100, they're all competent but their numbers depend on someone else to do his job.
LSU isn't attracting elite QB's, but gets decent ones. If you think the rest of the team doesn't matter, let me remind you of the complete beatdown 10-2 Georgia gave to Hawaii's undefeated and nation-leading QB.

I don't really get why people are butthurt about what he said. Our qb play was fricking atrocious last year and Miles is hinting at "Jennings gives us the best chance to win."

Don't you know that it's against the rules to talk positive about the QB position at LSU. I mean, Miles hates QBs, I even heard he was thinking about running a 4 RB offense this year. Of course he hates winning, so Fournette will be taking a red shirt year to improve his dominance. Mettenburger was a fluke, obviously coached up by Georgia's coaches that one year. Oh, and clearly Harris was the better guy, but Les is such a stubborn idiot, he just doesn't want me to be right again. Did I miss anything? I feel like I have some serious opportunity to be more negative and ignorant here.

At least you didn't post the word insufferable.
I want to go postal on you people when you post this dumb shite.

Yeah...LSU is known nationally for their amazaing QB play. You are a retard, sir. Mett is the only good QB under Les and he spent half his time at other schools and didn't have anyone behind him Les could put in instead.

Can we really say with certainty that's entirely to do with coaching? Or maybe, just maybe it has to do with th character of the kids that's have been recruited in the past?
Go back to Periloux and start from there. You had Zach Lee, a commit that chose to pursue Major League Baseball and has been pretty successful in that arena. Around the same time, Periloux is kicked off. Since then, with the exception of Mett, it's been a complete shite storm of low character, semi athletically gifted kids. Lee didn't have the stones, Jefferson didn't have the head. Jennings has the stones and head, but nothing spectacular in talent. If you listen to the rumors, Harris had all the talent last year, but not the head. So can we truly blame everything on the coaching? Or do the players carry some of the blame? Say what you want, coaching can't always corrcet bad behaviors.

Brandon Harris and Feleipe Franks are extremely refreshing in this regard. In the past, I think the staff would have shown a great deal more interest in staying in the Cole Kelly and Shea Patterson races. Those are not the kids we need on this team.

God forbid someone would have the gall to criticize what seems like such an obvious problem.
This seriously is the lamest of moral victories. It has absolutely nothing to do with the current qb play. I guess we aren't real fans if we don't live in the past and are unsatisfied with the current product.
Give me a break.

Yearly Quarterback rankings.
We are bad more times than good. Since Saban has been at Bama his QBs have not been ranked outside the top 40. I don't consider any of them NFL caliber QBs just good college QBs. We run basically the same offense, the QB makes or breaks you.
2014 AJ #96
2013 Met #6
2012 Met #84
2011 JJ/JL (No rank)total 2100yds
2010 JJ #53
2009 JJ #49
2008 JL #91
2007 MF #27
2006 JR #5
