Masters betting games

Anybody have any ideas for a creative Masters bet between friends. Like a scoring system for top 5, or something similar?
The most obvious being 5 pts for 1st, 4 pts for 2nd, etc., but I was just wondering if anyone was aware of another way to do it.

Just do a Masters pool and use a tier system.
Must pick a golfer from each tier. lowest accumulated score wins. can choose to throw out highest scores if you want. you can customize it however but it's the best way to do a golf pool.

Last one I played in was years ago. Everyone picked 5 golfers and low score wins the whole thing. 1st place is 1 point, 2nd-2points, etc all the way to the bottom.
We had a stipulation though that you could pick Tiger or Phil but only 1.
Wouldnt even need a rule like that now

This sounds good.
Where do I find a predetermined pool with a tier system. Are there examples of this easily accessible?
And thanks everyone for your responses.

I am in a $100 Masters Calcutta and these are our rules. It works better with more than just a few friends. We have around 25.
quote:
2) Select a minimum of 40 players who are participating in the Masters to include on your list. List more if you can. List the players in the order you want them selected. Make sure all of your selections are in fact playing.
3) Entry Deadline - Wednesday, April 8th, at 3:00 p.m. Please don’t wait until the last minute. Send in entries now!
4) Draft Order - Draft order to be selected by -------- the night of Wednesday, April 8th. Just trust me, I’m honest. Draft order is reversed each round. Last selection in first round gets first selection in second round.
5) Players - All players can be selected on 3 teams. We will continue to select players until someone runs out of players on their list. If you turn in less than 40 players, the committee (ME) can add players to your list to get you to 40 players so that the draft can go the maximum rounds. Please put more than 40 if possible. If a player withdraws after the Draft but BEFORE the tournament starts, we will add the next player from your list to your team.
6) Winner Determination - The low 3 players at the end of the tournament will be used for determining the winning score. If a Calcutta participant does not have 3 players make the cut, then he will be ineligible to win. In the event that all teams have 7 players on their list, then we will go with the low 4 players. In the event that we only have 4 players on each Calcutta team, then we will go with the low 2 players at the end of the tournament to determine the winning score.

No prob. Now that I think about it, you can probably adjust it for smaller groups. Maybe limit it where players can only be on one team, or have 10 or 15 golfers per team or something. It's a lot of fun.

We do it for each of the majors. Have been doing it for several years. Just a group of 6-8 of us that gather up and draft players. We'll draw numbers for drafting order then commence to picking teams. Each person picks a 6 man team, after the Friday round you narrow your team down to 3 players (assuming you have 3 make the cut, if you don't you're SOL). The lowest cumulative total of each persons 3 man team decides the winner. We each put up $30 for low team, $5 for lowest golfer in the tourney then you can win an additional $5 if you have the winning golfer on your team. All in all a person could win 150-200 bucks for each major. It's mainly about the food cooking and whiskey drinking the night of the draft. But it also gives you an added incentive to watch the matches. Our draft is tomorrow night. Fun times.

We do one where the players are tiered between A, B and C players. You pick one A player, 2 B, and 2 C players. Total money winnings wins the pool.
