Simmons (I know I know) echoed Lowe with a three teamer between Utah, Denver, and the Pels.

There’s a really fun Ty Lawson summer deal coming. Maybe a three-way that sends Lawson and a second-rounder to Utah, Jrue Holiday and Utah’s 2015 lottery pick to Denver, and Rodney Hood and Trey Burke to New Orleans?
If they don't have faith in Holiday's leg, Hood is very intriguing. Could maybe work a deal like that into getting Gallo too. Denver and Toronto are teams that will be looking to shake things up.

I'm not really one to freak out about 3&D. I just want a traditional SF to remove the Monty/Ryno combination from the equation.
That's makes some sense. I haven't been thrilled with how they've used Anderson this year. He's been poor, but I don't think they've helped him out much.
ETA- Some of it comes down to some of the roster stuff mentioned earlier about finding a top shelf creator/passer. Anderson needs someone to set him up, similar to Davis.

I think this is the usual 'ok' looks spectacular compared to 'bad' that we see so often for the Pels, but Holiday sure looked a lot more like a PG than anyone else on the team last game.

his defense is below average.
Sorry, but I watch the games and pay attention to defensive rotations. 90% of his defensive struggles are a result of playing next to Evans, who will drag down any perimeter D. Gordon actually puts himself in bad position by covering up bad rotations, often sagging to and squeezing players in the post.

here is one ranking by defense for shooting guards...Gordon is 70th
LINK
feel free to counter
Gordon is below average as a defender and has been since he got here

Ryno was second to last in DRPM

You keep watching bullshite fabricated measures and I'll keep watching games. Gordon is a far, far better defender than Evans and if you disagree, you are wrong.

I never once said Evans was a better defender than Gordon. Now you are just making shite up

not surprising at all
it's only one measure but it does illustrate how one dimensional Anderson and Gordon are.

Im surprised he isnt last

Gordon and Anderson make 23MM combined to do one thing and one thing only.
Atleast Gordon can handle the ball and pass, also Gordon is ACTUALLY making his shots as Anderson isnt

it's like you claim to be right never offer anything to back it up except "I watch the games" as though you are the only one to do so
pls back up your argument that Eric Gordon is something other than below average in any other meaningful aspect of his game other than 3 pt shooting
I'll hang up and listen

I have actually mentioned plenty of things. He actually rotates effectively. Hiwever, he is often forced to make very tough rotations by Tyreke's laziness on defense, which often results in a bad switch. Gordon is forced to pinch down in the post as Asik or Davis picks up Tyreke's man. Gordon then has to hedge hard and ends up playing in between on defense. Read The Bird Writes article on his D if you need a better understanding.

The Gordon discussion needs to address his up-and-down nature.
He has been just shy of great, and just north of 10-day.
He can be great, he can be zero-dimensional. On average, he is in between and polarizing... because his play is polarized.

I still think Jrue looks better at the 2 spot. I know he's capable of running point, and though he's more pass-first than Evans, he's a scorer to me. He can defend the 1 or 2, so it shouldn't be an issue.
I wouldn't mind a Rubio-lite to run some point with the first unit. Someone like Vasquez would actually be a pretty good fit on offense.
