So I am heading to Maui for the honeymoon and was looking for any must eat restaurants while I am there. I will be staying in both Wailea and Lahaina.
I am open to any price range at the moment as I need anything from nice dinners to casual lunch spots.
So far, I only have reservations at Monkeypod in Wailea and the Old Lahaina Luau in Lahaina. I also plan to grab lunch at Mama's Fish House the day we land in Maui due to its proximity to the airport.
Any recs are mucho apreciado!

There's a good Chicago style pizza place, I think the name was BJ's. Also, there was a great Italian place in Lahaina, 2 story building. I can't remember the name either. Sushi place by the golf course close to the Ritz.

Paia Fish Market is a great spot. It's super convenient if you're planning to drive the Road to Hana. Also, there's a little stand on the left not long after you start the Road to Hana that has the best banana bread ever.

there is a cool pub/restaurant close to the Wilea/makena golf courses off one of the roads leading to the course. they have live music at night and decent vibe for either dinner or after dinner. they have magicians and comedians as well. can't remember the name.
Mamas is the must-go place.
There are several nice seafood restaurants in Lahaina that have balconies or dining rooms overlooking the ocean. a couple are high end and take reservations. plan in advance and get a table facing the ocean at sunset.

I've been reading a lot about Paia. I may need to make it a point to spend some time there on our road to Hana day.

What you described sounds a lot like Monkeypod or Tommy Bahamas. Might have been one of those. I was planning on getting some drinks at Tommy's.

Ask the locals
Food around the hotels in Maui area are overpriced, not seasoned and not very good.
Do a luau one night.
Eat a lot of fruit, it doesn't get any better.
Kimo's on LaHaina is a good casual spot to hit, right on the water.

I actually have reservations to eat here in Honolulu. I'm assuming it is part of the same family?
