...due to fraud.

Too bad Mr Drysdale wasn't around to care for his funds.

"In 2010, Dwight Freeney authorized Bank of America to manage his assets, including his NFL salary," Jeffrey B. Isaacs said. "Two years later, Dwight had lost more than $20 million because of BofA's fraud scheme.

Did BOA churn his $20 mil out of existence or did Freeny casually forget those late night trips to the ATM?

Yeah this sounds like complete bs.
I'm guessing either he gave them his money to invest, and they put it into aggressive stocks and when the market went to shite he lost most of it.

It won't be long before Dwight blames the New World Order, Jewish bankers and the Rothschild family for his misfortune. Damn those banks.

100% positive he didn't have $20 mil worth of late night ATM withdrawals in 2 years.

The had to invest in some derivatives that tanked. Uncovered bets I would guess

As long as he's not taking on a huge bank with floors and floors of bloodthirsty attorneys he should win this outright.

No idea what the facts are, but on general principles I hope he takes a piece out of BoA. They are shady as shite.

He may have enjoyed his high end strip clubs a little too much.

Don't worry, awful human beings steal money from banks all the time in the form of free rent on properties they no longer own.

"Although we sympathize with Mr. Freeney as the victim of a crime, the bank had nothing to do with the criminal scheme," said Bill Halldin, a spokesman for Bank of America.
Halldin says the two people responsible for the wrongdoing have already been convicted in criminal court and ordered to pay restitution.
A former Bank of America Merrill Lynch adviser and a business associate were arrested in 2012 after fraudulently wiring $2.2 million out of Freeney's account.
