Download "vine" app.
Looked to me like the 2nd baseman would have had to make an incredible diving stab & then thrown out Hale, but the main reason I think it was a hit, was Hale's reaction when the ball hit Bregman.

I don't put this game on CPM. I put this game on the players making errors. Bottom of the 11th and Bregman runs into the game winning base hit. Top of the 12th, Chinea can't field a ball hit right to him which ends up as a 2 run double.
I hate losing these games due to fluke plays. Hale's hit scored the winning run 9/10 times. Two weeks ago if Ole Miss's out fielder doesn't slip fielding a ground ball, letting Zardon move to third, the infield would be at normal depth and Laird gets a double to win the game.
These games are just baseball being baseball. I guess that's why there's over 60 games through a complete season.

We shouldn't have even gone to extras. Got to have someone warming in the 7th

Baseball is bunting runners over with no outs to put the winning run on 3rd

Yall are a buncha of dicks. shite happens. 3 game series. Everyone we face preps for Friday night. You 2 decade + fans know that.
It'll be fine. Settle down.
We yelled at Bertman for not doing jack shite ever(remember when nobody was allowed to swing on first pitch)! We yelled at Smoke for being completely ignorant. We yell at Cpm for doing too much on the bags but leaving pitchers in too long. Relax. We will be #1 Sunday night. Let's geaux.

But who do we blame when Laird hits an infield popup and Bregman flies out to the left fielder after we "waste" an out bunting?
I'm just saying that it was that kind of night. That if we had bunted the runners over in the 11th, everything would have gone wrong anyways.

That's how I felt. 2 games left. 2 games!

What? No. Just no. You bunt in that situation 1000% of the time. No ifs, ands, or buts. It's not debatable. It's just not.
Mainieri didn't even give our guys a chance tonight. Every managerial error a coach can make tonight he made. That's what kind of night it was.

Then you can say that's baseball.

So we shouldn't put ourselves in the best position because it's going to go wrong anyways?
Seriously?

yep pm is not a real good game day manager.

Starts off with base running mistakes.
Has been the worst coached aspects of his teams since he's been there. I mean these kids play ball since they can walk yet they get to LSU and all the sudden they act like they've never been on base before. It's a trend that's to obvious not to hang on Pawl.

Uh, they are aggressive on the bases. I actually feel like ive seen less baserunning errors this year than in years past. Are yall referring to the ball hitting bregs and sciambra over running foster? Because while those are errors, they are also huge flukes that i dont think coaching has much to do with.
Posted on 3/28/15 at 7:30 am to ell_13
You nailed it. Might be the worst coached game I have witnessed, at any level.

You're an idiot. CPM has already admitted a mistake in this game. He said Sciambre probably shouldn't have been pulled.

can we move on an focus on winning the series. This will be forgotten if we win this series.
Posted on 3/28/15 at 8:15 am to tigerfan182
There were other mistakes but I was beside myself when he didn't pull the pitcher.
Posted on 3/28/15 at 8:18 am to ell_13
It's not the exception. This is what CPM does. 1st and 2nd with no outs , you move the winning run to 3rd and give your team two chances to win the game. Uk would most likely intentionally walk to load the bases. Bregs up , one out, bases loaded. I would take that any day

On the pitching, he did everything an inning too early. Bugg should have pitched the 8th.
Posted on 3/28/15 at 8:29 am to Slippy
We will probably see more Bugg now that Stallings pitched four innings though

Well, we have yet to sweep an sec series against teams who will finish middle of the pack or worse. We will not win the west this way. Already 2 games behind tamu
