Maybe it's because I'm just worried about who she is gonna bring around my kids.

That thought scares the ever-lovin bejesus out of me. Better to just keep her.

this always confuses me

she married you, you married her

unless you were some a-hole, why would she all of a sudden start dating assholes?

I'm gonna guess that this is your first divorce. Don't worry man, each one gets easier.

Have you really never met a co-dependent woman before? That is a rhetorical question, because of the impossibility.

In the end that's all that matters...if the dude is good around ur kids then all is good...if he is an arse or not good....your kids will tell you, then u gotta handle your busness...

Not always the case. Moms will tell the kids to keep things on the down low about what to tell the father. Been there.

Just because a person isn't divorced doesn't mean they treated their spouse badly.

My number 1 joy in heaven is to see how many men treated their wives worse than I did but still got to stay married anyway. That is gonna make me feel so good for all eternity knowing I treated my wife better than some did but I'm the one who ended up divorced.

You never thought of this while you were contemplating getting divorced?

Nope. I just thought about my ex being a drug addict at the time.

How old are your kids? Big factor.

And, we're parents. We worry about almost everything when it comes to our kids.

I will never divorce my wife unless she becomes a threat to the kids.

nope

but I'm pretty confident if me and the wife got divorced she wouldn't start dating assholes that I didn't want around our daughter

I just can't see it

maybe I'm naive though

Sounds like you want to one-up her. That's a fool's game. So long as the guys aren't felonious creeps, let her be. And don't keep score.

I'm not divorced and don't have any plans to at the moment, but my ex dating someone after we got to the point of not being able to be around each other anymore wouldn't bother me near as much as some other douche potentially raising or helping to raise my kids. Sounds like a nightmare.

Oh thank God!! Well it could have been worse. Next time you're picking out a future ex-wife, hire a PI to do some investigating. Trust me, it'll save you a lot of heart-ache.
