Now is the time to gear up. Looking for a 3mm neoprene set or close to it. Have used the same set of Cabela's for years, and while they don't leak the straps are stretched and I want some additional features. What you got?

Send them back to cabelas for a new pair, that is what I would do.

That's the pair I bought this past year. Paid $139 for them and like them so far.

My buddy prefers those over his $400 orvis waders

You can pay more but you cannot beat a canelas dry plus wader.

I bought a pair of Lacrosse Swamp Tuff Pro on the breakroom last year for $125.
Nothing beats them for the price.

Filson stocking feet waders

If the bottom where you wade has any softness to it at all (I.e. Wax Lake/Atchafalaya Delta), I would suggest some good stocking foot waders with a pair of lace up calf boots that you can tie real tight. I used to walk Wax Lakecwith boot foot waders and when they would start sinking into the mud my feet would cramp so hard, I considered giving up and accepting my fate a couple of times.
