It will sound great in an elevator or dentists office. Sorry, not my cup of drivel.

You're such a cool guy. I bet women throw themselves at you.

I do quite enjoy Knopfler's new sound. I had gotten so used to that wet strat tone of his. It's nice to hear his chops on acoustic. The guy has an iconic voice, too.

Listen to the song I posted "Long Cool Girl". That song is most certainly a panty dropper when played at the perfect moment...

I like it. One of the best guitar players of our time

Big Knopfler fan....I'll take a listen when I get home. Really want to see him in concert.

Or Sunday morning with a hangover. It's not bad, but for me personally,at this moment in my musical journey, it's background music.
It reminds me a lot of the slow, soft songs on Dave Alvin's King of California album

looking forward to hearing it
I have knopfler/Chet Atkins CD that I have just about wore out over the years

It is good stuff.
For Knopfler fans, check out "Sailing to Philadelphia"--about 10 years old and one of my go to LPs.

Mark Knopfler is my "go-to". No matter how much music I have, I go back to it time and again. Will order today.
Sailing to Philadelphia and Shangri-La are his best, imho.
And to the clueless asswipe who talks about elevators all I can say is I feel bad for humanity from time to time and it pains me to realize I am sharing oxygen with the most befuddled of you mouthbreathers. Your post was one of those moments. It's one thing to hate on bubblegum, but the brilliant musicians of our era need to be revered even if it's not your "genre".
