I will say, AD is not the best in the League. He is the best big man and he will be the best very soon.

Simmons' list is which players are the best trade assets. The fact that you are stuck on the best player argument is kind of funny.
What makes AD one of the best players in the league is easy to answer without using PER (which for some reason apparently doesn't count because you decided that): he is a plus player in the most categories, he has very few weaknesses, his strengths have crazy high ceilings, he can dominate a game in the most ways, he's crazy efficient, his skills when compared to his size make him a nightmare, he is indefensible on the pick and roll, he fits the Rob Gronkowski model with his size and speed combination that makes it hard to figure out who should guard him, and Durant is hurt right now which bumps him up considerably.
I think LeBron is the best player right now. I agree with Simmons that Davis is the top trade asset in the league. Crazy athletic, efficient, and good teammate. Only 22 years old.

Does AD have the #1 trade value in the league?
Yes or No.
Yes or No.

Who is the top trade asset in the league to you. I'm not sure why this is so difficult. Can you really not answer a question because you are afraid it would give Davis credit for being a good player? That type of insecurity is crazy sad.

It's between AD and Curry, but I'd say AD because he is so incredibly athletic as a BIg.

I'd say Lebron IMO. I think he's gonna win 2 on 3 more RiNgs. Sorry but i don't think Davis will win 2 or 3. Therefore id prefer Lebron.

Not a terrible answer. The only issue is he is 30, he has a ton of mileage in terms of minutes, and Davis is so young. I still stand by my stance that Lebron is currently still the best player, but Davis is the best asset because he is younger and cheaper.

Let us just compare the top 5 right now:
Curry, Davis, Harden, James, and Westbrook
Curry: 23.5ppg, 4.4rpg, 7.8apg, 3.1tov, 2.2spg, 0.2bpg, shooting 48.1/42.1/90.7; 121 ortg, 100 drtg, net +21, 27.6 PER, 12.5 WS, 6.2 VORP, 28.8 USG%
Davis: 24.7ppg, 10.4rpg, 1.9apg, 1.4tov, 1.4spg, 2.9bpg, shooting 54.6/10.0/82.7; 124 ortg, 101 drtg, net +23, 31.6 PER, 11.4 WS, 4.3 VORP, 27.8 USG%
Harden: 26.9ppg, 5.8rpg, 7.1apg, 4.0tov, 1.9spg, 0.8bpg, shooting 44.3/37.5/86.6; 118 ortg, 102 drtg, net +16, 26.6 PER, 13.2 WS, 6.4 VORP, 30.9 USG%
James: 26.0ppg, 5.7rpg, 7.4apg, 4.2tov, 1.6spg, 0.7bpg, shooting 49.2/34.9/71.6; 112 ortg, 105 drtg, net +7, 26.2 PER, 8.6 WS, 4.8 VORP, 33.0 USG%
Westbrook: 27.5ppg, 7.4rpg, 8.4apg, 4.3tov, 2.1spg, 0.2bpg, shooting 43.3/29.9/83.9; 111 ortg, 101 drtg, net +10, 29.6 PER, 8.5 WS, 6.0 VORP, 38.2 USG%
What are you going to use? WS? VORP? PER? ortg-drtg differential? comparing it to usg%? Hard numbers?
AD is currently a top 5 player at the very minimum. I'd argue he has the worst teammates of all 5.
People say Harden has nobody, well look at this list of the top 5 minutes played:
Harden 118/102
Ariza 104/103
Montiejunas 106/104
Beverly 107/105
Terry 110/105
Net: +26, none negative
Compared to the Pelicans:
Evans 102/108
Davis 124/101
Asik 112/105
Gordon 106/111
Anderson 111/110
Net: +20, 2 negative
Curry, Davis, Harden, James, and Westbrook
Curry: 23.5ppg, 4.4rpg, 7.8apg, 3.1tov, 2.2spg, 0.2bpg, shooting 48.1/42.1/90.7; 121 ortg, 100 drtg, net +21, 27.6 PER, 12.5 WS, 6.2 VORP, 28.8 USG%

James: 26.0ppg, 5.7rpg, 7.4apg, 4.2tov, 1.6spg, 0.7bpg, shooting 49.2/34.9/71.6; 112 ortg, 105 drtg, net +7, 26.2 PER, 8.6 WS, 4.8 VORP, 33.0 USG%
Westbrook: 27.5ppg, 7.4rpg, 8.4apg, 4.3tov, 2.1spg, 0.2bpg, shooting 43.3/29.9/83.9; 111 ortg, 101 drtg, net +10, 29.6 PER, 8.5 WS, 6.0 VORP, 38.2 USG%

Those Harden, James, Westbrook usage numbers are very concerning.

Westbrook's is off the charts

No person who is objective would disagree.

Most people believe Kobe is one of the best ever and I believe he has been in this situation.

I think Davis and Lebron are about neck and neck as the top trade asset right now.
Davis right now is really boosted by his age and contract.
These two in my opinion are probably the most versatile two way players in the league.
