Does this crawfish pot seem like a giant POS? Seems too cheap.

At Academy. The brand is Outdoor Gourmet Pro. Comes with the burner. 100qt pot.

How much is this piece of shite?

They seem kinda thin. I bought a Bayou Classic from Lowe's a few years back, but saw this one too. The BC seemed better made.

The burner is my big question mark really. It says it's a high output banjo burner but it doesn't list the BTUs.

That's crazy. My wife and I are literally discussing this set up right now. I have an old 60qt pot and single jet burner. If I get a 100qt pot will the single jet burner be enough or should I jump to the 2-jet burner?

Single is enough but double would not hurt.

Double will burn more fuel and get to boiling quicker. Each has it's pros and cons.

I love my double burner
Beats the shite out of a single as long as your bottle doesn't freeze up

How many batches can you do with the double and 1 5# tank?
Posted on 3/11/15 at 3:49 pm to Tigerdew
I couldn't tell you. I'd say 3-4, but I could be off

If you get a double burner you will need a larger tank or they will freeze up on you.

That's good to know. Thanks.

No complaints here. Before you really use it, fill it with water and boil it for a while. You will probably have some flakes come off the inside of the pot. You dont want that shite in your crawfish.

Or just hose down the tank or put it in a bucket of water
That's what I typically do
