That was the one positive I took from the last episode in terms of character development.
She was more fun ("I just wanted to see if you had another racket."; shooting the fire gun at him, etc.)
He was a less like Beavis and Butthead.

This show is pretty great. Will never be some legendary show but well worth yhe watch, and clearly better than a lot of crap fox has come out with that are guaranteed to fail.
Will forte is one of those guys that just cracks me up though so if you dont like him, its not for you, because I know that bitch from flight of the Concordes is nobody's favorite actress.

Yeah honestly I am just watching this because I am a big Forte fan. He has great comedic delivery.

I posted this in the other LMOE thread but this show really has potential. Its just a shame that it isn't on Netflix.
This show won't be the next Seinfeld but its certainly pretty good and fresh. Its a combo of the writing and Forte's delivery + the subtleties/irony. Forte makes fun of Tom Hanks for creating Wilson and then 6 months later has an entire group of friends that are balls.

I am wondering how they will handle this January Jones introduction. Other than the obvious Forte wanting her and Schaal getting jealous.

I loved the fact that she made a big deal of him stopping at stop signs in the first (double) episode, and in the next one, (with supposedly no one else on earth, he runs a stop sign and they get in a wreck.
Love how they tied that together.
