TPOS cop...

The video picks up at an earlier point than the previously-released one. This video shows Deputy Nicholas Breaux and Brady Becker both on the ground. As the two start to get up, it appears to show Breaux throw Becker to the ground. The next sequence includes Breaux punching Becker several times, similar to the previous video.

Brady Becker suffered visible injuries from the punches and his case has been a cause célèbre in the news as Becker's family and his attorney held press conferences to denounce the physical arrest.

Looked like the cop was considering drawing his weapon when the girl that was screaming got closer. He kept his hand on it for several seconds.

It's 2015, why don't the cops have a device to disable cameras in a certain perimeter? The technology has to be out there and it seems like it would prevent a lot of these lawsuits.

Wait that's the video that is supposed to clear the officer of wrong doing?!?! Good god all I see is a bully picking on an obviously inferior kid.

Funny that if some douche tries to start shite with your average Joe and Joe kicks his punk arse its ok. Put a uniform on Joe and now he is tpos.

Without knowing the complete details of what actually happened, I can only rely on what I've seen on the news and in the paper. It looks to me like the cop over reacted, but Becker doesn't come across as a sympathetic character to me either.

What I find really confusing is how Becker and the other witnesses (10, 20, 32, whatever) are all saying they didn't know Breaux was a cop and he never ID'd himself. If this is true, who were they yelling "frick the cops!" at?

I think the cops and the kids are all full of shite, but if the kids hadn't been yelling and trying to out the undercover cops, none of this happens. And I don't want to hear about freedom of speech and civil rights, it was stupid. Plenty of things are legal and within your rights as an American, but outside the limits of common sense.

This has the feel of the Trayvon and Zimmerman ordeal, a punk kid being taken out by a cop.

The cop did go too far, but if the kid was acting out that much, he got a tough lesson for acting like an idiot. Anyone saying F the police is probably an idiot anyways.

Well you know I would love to see another story about this cop. I will leave it at that so as not to disturb those that worship all cops.
