Because I don't like the way they look for one thing and the trailers I've rented before with them always had water damage in the walls from idiots not installing them properly.

why don't you google mobile home central units or something like that, where I'm at there are several large mobile home suppliers that carry just about everything for mobile homes, where yat btw?

Trailer walls aren't strong enough to support the weight.

I was hoping someone here might have firsthand experience with this issue. I'm looking at them now on eBay. Looks like you can by the whole setup. Inside and out for around $1500.

I was thinking it would be cheaper than a conventional home central system, I recently did a repair job in an older mobile home that required matching up some existing parts. I was looking at HD and one of their guys gave me the name of a mobile home supply house and I googled around. It's quite an industry, they carry everything you'd need to build one from scratch. I would imagine there'd be a few of those in the area, at least BR or NO. Good luck.

It will cost you about the same as as it would for a regular home. I used to have a 1700 sq ft. mobile home and the price to replace the the A/C was around $5500.
You got ripped off.

It'll cost about as much as a trip to Talledaga with your ole lady.

I paid about $5200 to replace my downstairs unit not long ago, same approximate square footage(downstairs,) the price was in line with other quotes.
