I think you're correct. On her Facebook page, there are wedding pictures where they are "swinging" the kid. The kid can't be no more than 4.

That's bullshite. He got off staff because he didn't want to take call. I knew Dr Breen. When I first started working in the ER on the Northshore he was the OB/GYN that most nurses went to,He was a good Doctor, He could have a temper sometimes but that was rare. And as for the restraining order some bitc.... er women's lawyers get it to help with their case even if they weren't touched.

I'm sure detectives have questioned his former wife but we do now there is no record of any domestic abuse:
Court records also indicate the north shore physician had divorced his previous wife in 2006 and divorce records from that case show no indication of domestic abuse. The petition for divorce between Breen and his first wife, Diana Flynn Breen, was filed in April 4, 2006.

I didn't know him them, but a "story" I heard yesterday was that his first wife left him because he was cheating on her with the wife that shot him. No clue if it's true, but infidelity could be a possibility in both scenarios.

My old OB/GYN had sexual relations with many nurses in the hospital. Is that better? 
My SIL worked in his office and confirmed all of this.
He was very good looking, unlike this guy, though lol. Docs have little buttons they press when they need a warm body present for GYN exams. He would press the button to bitch out the nurse because the soft jazz was on 3 instead of 4 and even fire them on the spot. (Outside in the hall) and then walk in and say, 'Good Morning Mrs. Beaver,' with a smile. He would look in the mirror and sing IM TO SEXY and hairspray his hair.
He was a pig. But his patients WORSHIPED him. They had no idea, what an arrogant arse he was.
POINT OF THE STORY: it is hard to get over patient worship and not see that your doc could be a wife beating scum bag.

Surgeons (including OBs) get on and off staff all the time at St Tammany and Lakeview. And I know here too. I didn't realized they got married. They were "friends" for a while

Break that sentence down..."Dr. Wayne Breen and his wife had a history of domestic issues".
That doesn't say there is a history of domestic abuse.
Look, you may be right..maybe he beat the hell out of her but thats certainly not what what article says and you aren't basing that assumption on anything credible whatsoever at this point.

There are so many possibilities right now, but yes...it is very possible that this lady was a golddigger that tore Breen away from his first wife, filed a restraining order then married him anyway and all the while was the stable one while Breen was a complete sociopath who cared for his patients but beat his second wife with no prior history of incidents.
But, there are also alot of other possibilities as well and since I knew the man, I will believe what I feel to be most likely until I see otherwise and when I do, I will not be blind to info that I don't want to see. i'm just going to wait and see it.
