Good.

But get a mutt of one. Seriously. Avoid a solid white AB like the plaqlgue unless you like hip issues. Our female has pages of credentials dating back 40 years. Poor thing pops and creaks as she gets up.

My boy is brindle and white, nearly 7, and acts like a puppy.

The hybrid is better than the pure Johnson or Scott.

My friend has one and she is the neediest dog in the world and has been since she was a puppy. I don't know if it's just that dog or the breed, but good Lord. Sweet dog, but can't be left alone for 2 minutes without whining.

I have an american bulldog/st bernard mix. He is 11 now and awesome. The first couple years are challenging because they are so strong willed and hard headed but after that they are great. They need a good bit of exercise and to be socialized well. They are large powerful dogs and can inflict a lot of damage if they want. You need to know that and remember that if you get one. If you do get one you can remove the locks on your doors because aint no one breaking in. They are wonderful around kids also.

I will always get mixed breed dogs. It just seems like they live longer. I've had large pure breeds and they always seem to die around 7 years in from something shitty like cancer or heart issues.

We have an all white one. She's one of the nicest animals I've ever met; great dog.

Good dogs, need lots of excercise, a big backyard and a job to do. I had one he was pretty easy to train, not smart at all but fairly easy to get the basic commands. Make good catch dogs for hogs.

First dog, and couldn't ask for anything better. Just a goofy, happy go lucky beast.

He's definitely a mix though, probably with a chocolate lab. Mom was full bred with papers.
