Have you seen them used? Incredibly bright.

Sick of that myth.

5k worth of Rigid is easily outperformed by 500$ worth of HID.

LED is for up close, side lighting, and reverse lights. HID is to see everything from up close to miles away.
Would post a pic, but then the OT would know who I was.

It was 20 years old with all brand new parts on it.

It was retired late last year because it flipped a couple of times with me in it. To save an old lady's life and then a couple of kids too.

This is a terrible thing to say, but in retrospect had I known the risk to the kids and my eventual injuries... I likely would have driven straight over her car.

I certainly couldn't do it again... Even if I was trying.

And that's the difference between a good and bad nurse...

Amazing that the nurse is siding with the nurse.

Hi, I'm not a nurse. I've thrown more than one nurse from a hospital room. To say I have disdain for the quality of too many nurses in the hospital system today is an understatement.

But... The hospital screwed up here. Not her.

One of the top docs in infectious diseases out of BR was lecturing the CDC on their idiotic practices. I'll trust his word over some guy on the internet.
The current theory is there are multiples.

Sabine smidt for one.

Can't tell if it's a man or a woman when they only show the helmet sometimes.

Did you pay the toll?
Nailed it, 11 am I'm out of here.

I was roaring like a lion a little while ago.
Either this or confit.

Nothing beats a backstrap that was confited.

Tastes like butter....heavenly butter.

Currently barricaded in the office and haven't touched anything or talked to anyone.

Sweating has been replaced by freezing.

Gonna try to stick it out until 11.

I know what happens when I leave though, doctor for a quick visit, home for about five minutes, then straight into the shop I go. Happens everydamne rd fin time.

Icanbalwayd puke outside.

Monday Morning Sick at work

Posted by BoredStateWorker on 3/2/15 at 9:08 am
So I sit down at work on this glorious Monday morning... And have the usual Monday annoyance at being here.

Nine a.m. rolls around and now I have nausea and sweat pouring off of my face. Only my face.

What's the OT think... AIDS?

No dinosaurs yet, but I feel like soon.

Just told someone this yesterday

If you're gonna hunt with it...and plan to leave it basically stock... Maybe jumping up to a 27in tire at most. Go with the big red.

If you intend to trail ride it occasionally and might want a larger tire. The yamaha is the better choice.

If you will need to do everything the yamaha can with better towing. Get the ranger 800. 800 not 1000. Not 570. 800. The liberty motor and it's electronics are bulletproof. It does require greasing and different fluids... But when working at a Honda and yamaha dealership... I bought an 800 sportsman instead. You HAVE to do the simple maintenance. But if you do it works great.

The 800 Polaris and the 700 yamaha will both tow a 30ft 16 inch diameter tree through mud and muck with no problem. The difference is when you hit hard pack... The 800 can tow it at 40.

The big red...or whatever Honda has changed the name to these days... Is an awesome machine. But it is down on power. Least amount of maintenance of any of the side by sides though.
Torn and never repaired acl.

Multiple dislocations of shoulders from trying to move things I shuoldnt.

Bulging discs and one spiderwebbed from an accident which we are hoping repairs itself without fusing.

Stretched tendons in both wrists from airbags deploying and driving my hands into my shoulders at an angle.

But the worst is the little part of my brain that says I'm still 15 and bulletproof. I'm reasonably sure I can't be killed at this point... Just really banged up lol

I will say our bamboo is 5 years old and we have three very large powerful dogs who like to play chase on it. The hardwood in th bedroom is nearly ruined. The bamboo doesn't have a mark on it.
Good.

But get a mutt of one. Seriously. Avoid a solid white AB like the plaqlgue unless you like hip issues. Our female has pages of credentials dating back 40 years. Poor thing pops and creaks as she gets up.

My boy is brindle and white, nearly 7, and acts like a puppy.

The hybrid is better than the pure Johnson or Scott.

it would be like harnessing the power of the sun

For about 100ft...yep.

But a hid setup would throw more light up close and shoot a half mile or more with the light housings.

I wish this fad would fade.

You know there are other amendments besides 1 & 2...right?
You're the one who called a hairy man beast cute, princess.
They take a full three years to mature and live 12-15 years with no health issues. Lol

You're in for the long haul.

Gun or not, I'm not one for abusing women, so I'll let you slide.
They have a tendency to want to wander. Set a perimeter and walk it at night.

We fenced in an acre or so to let the dogs play while we aren't home, and to make it easy to let em out at night. Every single night I have to walk out off the porch and pick him up and carry him in.

He knows when the coyotes are in the far pasture WAY before we ever hear a sound.

If anyone ever wants to breed some as livestock guardians, he Will be uncut for another two years or so.

But these aren't pets for the average Joe. They are as far from a regular dog as a wolf...and damned near as intelligent.

Vet seems to think he will hit 200lbs. I honestly don't know.

Linex and monstaliner are in a league of their own.

Only uv linex comes close to monstaliner's ability to not fade.

Kangal. Or Anatolian. Or akbash.

Wait until he's asleep and lightly play a wolf howling. If he runs to the door, he might be one.

They are fairly rare and quite large.

140lbs at 11 months. Would post actual pics, but too many OT sleuths.
