I typically drink 1-3 cups daily. We ran out of coffee yesterday and my wife was complaining about a headache last night.
I'm not addicted and drink coffee because I think it tastes good, I could drink 2 cups and fall right asleep.

That's nothing.
I don't really know that daily consumption of coffee is linked to any health hazards, besides coffee breath and stained teeth.
I drink one 14 oz cup five days out of the week (work days). Don't drink any on the weekends, but that's still enough for me to get withdrawal headaches.

When my wife worked.. she would drink a pot from 4-5 I the morning then probably another pot spread out during the day.. I don't drink that much in a week
