Sorry 'bout that. I love MI as well, and perhaps the seeding was off

Just giving you a hard time. Thanks for doing this. That was the one that hurt, and it came right after a matchup in which I wouldn't mind either film losing. And the winner gets the Toy Story 3 juggernaut (which should totally be the 1 seed). Monsters, Inc. got a draw so hard, you'd think it was a mid-major. A better draw, and it could've gone far. Now, it'll be lucky to survive one round. It happens.

I get Ratatouille's support. It is the least childish of all of the Disney movies, so it garners a lot of support from adult fans without children. My kid hates it, I love it. But the fact it scores poorly with my child is a serious demerit for a Disney film, IMO. My ballot is partly owned by Mowgli.

Also, Ratatouille is helped by Frozen backlash. People are actually mad at its overwhelming success, which is just weird to me, as many Disney movies are very popular. It's probably the only Disney film in which its success and popularity is held against it, except maybe Cars.

Agree with that 100%.

Frozen is great, yet lots of people hate it. Not having kids (especially girls), I haven't had to have it playing at my house 1,000 times since it came out though. I saw it once at theaters, and then bits and pieces here and there. So it doesn't grate on me like it may others who are forced to watch it over and over.

agreed. ratatouille is pretty good, but it's getting way too many votes. frozen is fantastic. the songs are unbelievable. it was/is a cultural phenomenon, which is so hard to do. people just like to hate on things that are popular for whatever reason. weird.
