Face paint for duck dog

Since when has this become acceptable? It might be the dumbest thing I've seen from the sky blasting, DD wannabe crowd in a while.
I also don't see the point of taking time to camo up a dog with a red collar and logo either...
Am I alone in thinking this?

It's proven that if your dog has face paint the ducks dont flare as easily. They literally fall on your lap. If no face paint, ducks just buzz he dekes. Saw it on an episode of duck dynasty!

Used to hunt with an old guy that spray painted his dog green. This was 20+ years ago.
