Nah, 800k just isn't terribly large to anybody on the OT.

Which is why I felt comfortable presenting the matter to this forum.

King Bhumibol? That crazy old frick? All I can say is that, having spent several long weekends at the palace, it is indeed, Good To Be King.

And no, I have no interest in consorting with you.

In your circle? Which is why you came to a fricking message board (known for its lavish bragging style) to ask a simple banking question. Makes sense..

It is. I generally deal in cash transactions, which are handled in a different manner.

k a simple banking question.

As I mentioned, my transactions with banks--or should I say, banks in the U.S. and other developed countries--are quite rare. Before this afternoon, I couldn't tell you the last time I was in one. And based on my experience, it'll be a long time before I enter one again.

The only thing I'm full of at the moment is Norco, tramadol, soma and doxepin. I feel quite well, thank you.

It's the fact you came to a message board to ask. Who, in your "position", would do that? I would think an "OT" baller like yourself would have an assistant find out or maybe ask your full time lawyer? Upper 6 figures...no big deal. Even multi-millionaires don't talk like that!

No.

It must be a very small bank or a very small town.

Thanks for the information. I typically avoid banks, at least ones in this country. However, should I ever deposit another check of any size into a U.S. bank, I'll bring with me a baseball bat or some mace or something to fend off the "relationship bankers."

A simple "No thanks, I'm not interested" should suffice.

In any event, I successfully fended off their efforts to "help" me, although now I suppose, I'll receive a barrage of direct mail on their investment services.

Better than average chance that you can request to have your customer profile flagged for no phone/mail solicitation.

Uh, does that include the cents? Upper six figures normally means almost a million bucks.
