No tenn. played as terrible as they could possibly play. Let's hope LSU continues to improve.

Imagine how good this team could be if JOB III would have stayed for his senior season? IMHO O'Bryant could have been a nightmare this season and an NBA Lottery pick if he had stayed and we would be a Top 10 team and it would have given Mickey and Martin an opportunity to play with Simmons and Blakely and do some real damage to college basketball - which sorely needs some dynamic play.

This is a different team with Patterson running the show. He is the key. We always need Josh Gray to show up but Patterson was coached by I think the best hs basketball coach in the nation. He really understands the position.

IMO makes JJ look stupid for riding gray ant the end of the Kentucky game. I know gray put in a couple of baskets, but maybe we pull out the win going with Patterson at the end of that game. He clearly thinks Patterson is better or else he wouldn't have been getting more pt.

Stepping on the end line (TWICE) is still etched in my brain. No one has any doubts about the interior play.

I think it has more to do with getting Patterson and Quarterman into the starting line up. Yes they played well against UK, but it started the game before against Bama. They went from a team that had to play down the wire against even the worst SEC teams, to a team suddenly started winning SEC games (except UK) by 10+
